I woke up around 8:50 am which was pretty early as I sat up In my bed I looked at the scenery and seen my bedroom was quite plain.
I went to my bathroom and did my hygiene routine,I decided on washing my hair and leaving it to air dry I slipped on some adidas pants and a black shirt.
As I went into the kitchen I planned on making an omelette with some grits, shrimp, and spinach.when I was done I slipped on some slides grabbed my car keys and purse to head out.
I was in the car listening to Shawty by Piles as I pulled up to the furniture store.Today plan was to go furniture shopping.I seen a lot of different things that were my style and some thing that I couldn't even imagine being near me.
I finally returned to my dorm and was satisfied that I got furniture shopping out of the way. I seen Lindsey was here so I decided to go talk to her.
"Hey Lindsey" I said
"O hey I didn't see u there"she exclaimed holding her chest.
"Where were u all this time?"
"I went furniture shopping everything should arrive next week."
"Ok,well today there is a party going on later at 8 do u wanna slide through with me?"
I was a little hesitant at first but then I heard my mom voice in my head telling me I should go.
"...Um sure I guess I could go."
"Ok great be ready by 7:30"
I took a showers and got ready for the party I was anxious to go there and see new people since I didn't have any firends besides Lindsey.
I was now Infront of my bathroom mirror putting on alittle bit of makeup such as eyeliner, mascara, a little powder and some lipstick.
For my outfit I decided on wearing a crop top with some jeans and some Jay's.
I was finally ready and we were on our way to the party. As we arrived to our destination I heard loud music and seen a lot of people. I looked around and seen people dancing some drinking or talking.
I looked over to the side to see Lindsey talking to some boy so I decide to just tell her I'm going to get some drinks. I made my way through the crowd of people to where the drinks were.
I grabbed me a cup and sipped it as I leaned on the counter.
Chris Pov
Hey I'm Chris I'm 19 years old and in Emory college I'm 6'2 and is light skinned with tattoos on my arm and around my neck. My friend August convinced me to go to this party so I tagged along. I was now just getting in the place and it was pack with people I made my way towards where the drinks are and seen this beautiful girl standing there me being a boy of course I was going to talk to her.
"Wassup Ma"I said. She didn't respond. I guess she wasn't paying attention.
"Hello?"
"Oh hi sorry u didn't see u there" she said looking at me.
"It's cool, I seen u just standing there and I couldn't just walk away without saying hi to your beautiful face"
She looked down then blushed,I think my magic is working."Thank u but I don't you to have the wrong idea that I'm leading you on or something"she said.
"Why would u think that ma"I said as I smirked."It's just that i see many boys like you around so I have to watch out"
"Well Hun I ain't one of them boys so u ain't even got to worry." She chuckled

I finally went home and I was exhausted I took a shower took off my makeup and put on some shorts a tank top and some long socks. As I laid in bed thought about what happened tonight and how I met someone new. Chris and I actually had alot of fun together I also found out he goes to Emory and lives on campus so I'll be seeing him around more often. I didn't get his number I'm not that type of person who moves fast even when meeting friends. As I continued to day dream my eyes became heavy and I soon fell asleep.
