After my inner rambles brought down to a deep depression that I wished would never become a reality, I knew we should get out of the street. The number of women, and some men, we're eyeing Silas like he was a piece of meat, and my wolf was getting jealous. Never had I thought I would get such a handsome mate, expecially one who seemed so okay with the idea that I am an omega. Wait. Does he even know I am am omega?
I pull Silas to a stop as we stand outside my work. I see my boss standing I side glaring at me and I know I need to look for another job, since the glare she is giving me seems to decide what my fate is.
"Uhm, you do know, that I'm, uhm, an omega, right?" I ask him nervously. Kota had taken Zain and Gabriel into the small bakery after we had left the middle of the street and let the cars keep going. He gave me a suggestive look that made me blush, but now I am only worried if my status will ruin my life with this beautiful man.
"Of course I'm fine with it,I'm sill here, aren't I. I scented it on you the second I smelt you, I didn't leave then, so why would I leave now?" He asked again giving me the look he have me when I asked if he was going to reject me. An incredulous look that spoke volumes.
"I'm sorry, it's just that, omega's aren't expected to have good mates, and you seem to good for an omega." I explain as I bow my head. I heard a grunt before my head was lifted into, now familiar hands, and directed to reach Silas' gaze.
"Baby, you have to stop thinking about stuff like that. You are my mate, nothing about you, or anything you do, will make me change my mind about accepting you." He whispered against my lips as he smiled. I smiled back at him involentarily, I don't know why it is so easy to smile around him, but it seems to contagious when this big bulky man smiles, you have to do it back.
"I'm sorry, I promise I won't tell you anymore reasons as to why we shouldn't be together." I whisper back. Instead of a smile gracing his face like before, a small frown now covers his thick plump lips. Much like his smile, his frown is also contagious and before I know it, I'm frowning too.
"Did I say something wrong?" I ask worried that I had said something to upset him again. It hasn't even been fifteen minutes and I am being a horrible mate.
"No, Sorenson. You didn't say anything wrong, but what you said wasn't right either." He said as he turned around and pulled me with him. The second part of his sentence was a whisper, but with my advanced hearing I was able to hear him.
So, what I said wasn't wrong, but it was. That is really confusing, but I don't want to ask him and make him mad at me. I don't want to be a bad mate.
"Okay." I let him pull me down the street. I see Kota walking behind us while holding Gabriel and pulling Zain behind him, much like Silas is doing to me.
"Where are we going?" I ask him as he continues to pull is down the crowded sidewalk. I am worried that Kota won't be able to keep up with Silas' fast pace and we will lose all three of them I'm the crowd.
He doesn't answer but pulls us into a small little coffee shop on the corner of the street. The atmosphere inside is an almost 180 from the busy street outside. There is only three people in here, and they are all sitting at the same table. The music is a soft violin piece, I know this is a place where you can relax and get to know someone, and that is what we want to do.
Silas gets us a table. He pulls out my chair and helps Gabriel and Zain up onto their chairs when the demand to sit next to him. Kota sits in the empty seat next to me and squeezes my knee under the table. I put my hand on top of his and squeeze back. I know this is his way of asking for forgiveness, and the hand squeeze was my way of saying he is forgiven.
Kota and I might not be close, we might be different, but we love eachother, just like I love Gabriel and Zain. And nothing is going to change that, not my homophobic anti-omega pack, and not even my mate. We have been together our whole lives, and we won't give eachother up for anything.
