"Sorenson, I'm back." I heard Silas's deep voice call. I heard the door softly close, seeing as it was close to midnight, I was happily surprised that he assumed that the boys would be sleeping. I still don't know where Kota is, he hasn't come back since I expressed my true feelings, although he wasn't suppose to hear them.
"In the kitchen." I call softly. I hear his small groan of pain as he makes his way to the kitchen. He probably thinks I'm cooking, and for once, I'm not. I am enjoying a slightly warm cup of tea as I sit awake dreading what tomorrow will bring.
His face shows shock when he walks in and sees me in my flannel pajamas and nursing a mug. He quickly hides it though and gives me a soft, sorry smile.
"I know I was being stupid, I shouldn't be afraid to talk to you about something that concern all four of your wellbeing." Silas said as he took the seat next to me. He reached for my hand and pulled it to his own and began playing with my fingers, it seemed like a nervous habit for him, but to me it was very calming.
"And after roaming around town for an hour I decided what we had to do, and it took a lot of convincing, but it's good enough until we can get in touch with your parents." Silas explained as he began counting my fingers.
"What's that?" I ask frowning even though I am silently cheering, I was hoping he would come back with good news, otherwise I don't know what I would have done.
"Your Alpha is letting me take you, and you brothers, back to my pack, for a month, and in that time you all will be 'working for me'. As in like, maids." He answers calmly, but my calm is out of then window, much like me and my seat.
"We will not be your slaves." I hiss in his face. He is shocked by my outburst but I am not, I will never let anyone I care about end up like me, not if I can help it.
"That's not what I meant Sorenson. He is under the pretense that that is what you four will be doing, but you won't be. I will introduce you to the pack, and train you to be luna, Kota can train to be a warrior if he desires to. I would never force you to do anything you don't want to, you or those adorable little boys that call you daddy." He smooths out as he caresses the side of my face. I let myself relax into his hand.
I don't one why I think so little of Silas and his pack. It might be the way that everyone talks about him, the cruel heartless alpha that would murder his own before letting himself die. Or it could be my trust issues, never having a parental figure in my life I was never given trust, or love, and that might be why I fund it so hard to trust anyone, because I was never trusted by the two sets of people in my life that should have loved and adored me. My original set of parents, the one who conceived me, or the one who picked me up from the orphanage.
"Alright, I trust you. So, are we leaving tomorrow?" I ask shyly as my hand flutters up and cover his still on my cheek. He smiled at me before nodding.
"Yeah, Baby, we're leaving tomorrow." He affirms as he let's his hand and mine drop back to our sides. I squeal quietly before running to the rooms that currently aren't occupied by sleeping children, and begin packing all that we have, which is somehow a lot, I don't know how we got all this stuff, but it's here, and it had to come with us.
"You are just too cute." Silas mutters before going to his own room with a few boxes. I squeal again and pack faster. I can't believe I actually get to leave!
I'm sorry about these last two chapters, I have been sick the past few days, so they are short and not edited very well. I promise next week's will be better, hopefully.
Xoxoxoxo.
