The cat in the box

Your P.O.V.

"AAAAH I'M GONNA BE LATE!!!" I screamed, jumping out of my bed. Then, i took a bath as fast as i can, ate some toast, then dashed to the door. I almost bumped into my older brother, Makoto.

"Hi nii-chan! Bye nii-chan!" I said while dashing out the door. "Hey wait-" he tried to speak, but I already left the house.

I ran as fast as i could, not minding the people passing by. "Faster legs, fasteeer!!" I mumbled to myself. "I really hope that I arrive on time!!!"

Sadly, I didn't. I did my best anyways. Ugh...Now i have to stand in the hallway?...come on....But i really should sleep earlier. It's my home work's fault! Who invented them anyway!?

*time skip to break time*

Ding...Dong...

"Ah...finally free~" I said happily. And then...

"Y/N!!!!!" Someone screamed out my name.

Then, that "someone" tackled-...I mean hug me to the ground.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!?" I screamed at this "someone"
"Hugging you, duh!" She replied. "Miki... What the... Let me go already ya idiot!" I replied.

Let me introduce my friend here, her name is Miki, the craziest person alive, and my best friend.

"Where have you been???" She said completely ignoring my order.
"Let me go first ya idiot!" I ordered her.
"Aw....okay..." She said, letting me go.
"Now answer my question. Where have you been?" She asked again.
"I got a punishment for getting late to school...and I have to stand for an hour in the hallway!" I said with a dramatic voice.

"That's too bad...oh well!" She said
"Don't you care about me???" I said with an irk mark growing on my head. "Haha~ I was just kidding y/n-chan!" She said joyfully, with a slight teasing voice. "Come on! Let's buy some ice cream!" She said. "Yay! Let's goooo! >.< I replied happily and cute.

*Time skip to the end of school*

Rain kept on pouring...And i have to wait until the rain stops...(WHY RAIN WHYYY) It's not that I dislike the rain, I just have to go home before my brother does.

Or...

*FLASHBACK BROUGHT TO YOU BY CHOCOLATES* 

*Le me snooping trough the door...
"Where the heck have you been?" My older brother said in a somehow terrifying voice, that made me cringe in fear.

And then, imagine, me being stuck in hell. For an hour. (In this case, hell meant endless blabbering.)

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

It was a really hard day for me...But what if my brother arrived home early? What if he doesn't care about the rain? What if...what if....."OH WHO CARES ABOUT THE RAIN!"

I screamed, making everyone stare at me as if I'm a crazy person.

"Run! Faster legs, fasteeeerrr!!!" I mumbled under my breath.

Until...

"Meow..."

A soft meow caught my attention. I slowed down, and searched for the source of the sound.

Then, I realize, it was a kitty in a box... It looked injured, so i pity him. It has hazel colored fur, and leaf green eyes.

"How adorable..." I said as my eyes sparkle. Considering that it's a cat, it's injuries looks pretty bad...And it has a collar, with 'Yuuta' written on it's name tag. "Aww...Poor cat...Did somebody throw you away? Should I bring it home? Or should I not?" Hmm........ Whatever! I'll bring it home.

So I ran, and ran, and ran, pacing faster in each step. The rain is still falling, and I don't wanna catch a cold, so I kept on running.

Then, at the front of the door, I slammed the door open. Hoping my brother hasn't come home yet. 

"*sigh* Good thing my brother is not here yet... Poor little thing... You got wet did you?" I said to the poor kitten.

The next thing to do is to clean this poor cat up. So I took it to the bathroom, and wash it in the sink. I touched the injuries a bit, and it cringed in pain. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to...." Then I had to be careful when washing it.

Next thing to do is to fix him up. I took some alcohol and some mesh, to fix him up. I rubbed some alcohol on it's injuries, and wrap some mesh around it's injury.

It cringed again, and I said "I know it hurts, but you're gonna be better soon"...It calmed down because of my words, so, I'm guessing he'll be fine.

Then I kissed the cat's snout, making it show some pink tints.

And then...

"I'm home..." A familiar voice said. "Onii-chan!" I said to him and run towards him while holding the cat.
