Chapter six

Harry's pov.

i closed the door behind us and i ran over to her. i drabbed her waist and pressed my lips against hers. she joined me. i backed her against the wall and i kissed her harder. it was magic. i took off her shirt. i stopped, then she stopped.

"baby, whats wrong?" she asked me.

"i don't think we should do this yet."

"well....."

"i know you want to do this mary but...."

"your just not comfortable with it."

"not right now."

mary nodded and put her shirt back on.

"mary..."

"don't."

"Don't what?"

"don't try to explain yourself. if you don't want to do it then i guess were done."

i was speachless. was she breaking up with me?

"are we-"

"breaking up. yes."

i fell to the floor.

mary headed to the door. she put her hand on the doorknob and looked back at me.

"its better this way...." and she left.

i sat there for 2 hours before i decided to commit suiside. i ran to the kitchen and picked up the butcher knife. i held it up above my chest and brought it down.

i woke up from my nightmare. mary was laying beside me naked. i was too.

'oh god. did we-. no. we didn't. but we did.' i got up quietly, trying not to wake Mary and went to the bathroom. i got my pj's and went downstairs to make breakfast.

i grabed the milk and pancake mix and made some pancakes.  i set the panckes on a plate and set them on the table. it was mary's b-day. dee told me it was. i quieckly made her a cake and put seventeen candles on it. i set it in the stove for later. i called dee and wanted to see if she wanted to throw mary a party at her house. she immediatly said yes. i hung up and went back to work.

i went into the fridge and grabbed the juice and setted the table.

5 minutes later mary came downstairs in some clothes and smiled. i smiled back at her. she looked at the table. her eyes widedend and sat down.

"happy brthday babe." i kissed her.

"how did you know it was my birthday?" she asked.

"oh a little birdy whipsered in my ear that it was."

"that was no bird. it was deedee, wasn't it."

i nodded. she smiled and kissed me.

After breakfast i decided to take mary shopping for her b-day. we drove to the mall. while Mary was looking around at what she wanted i bought a ring. i wanted to propose to her tonight at the party. i bought a beautiful ring and set it my pocket.

i waited for mary. she finally showed up and smiled.

"i know what i want."

"what is it?"

"are you alergic to animals?" she asked.

"no why?"

"i want a puppy!" she said excitedly.

"a puppy?"

"yeah. but you don't have to get it."

"i've always wanted a dog ever since i was little. i never got one." she said sadly. she looked at the ground sadly. then looked at me all perked up.

"if you don't want to buy me a puppy, that's fine. there something else i would like."

"what is that."

"a car."

i shook my head.

"well its something i need. since i got into an accident yesterday and my car was totalled.

i nodded in understandment.

we left the mall a few hours later. i eneded up buying her her own pickouts of clothes.

i drove the car to her house.

"What are we doing here, harry?" she asked.

"you'll see." she smiled and got out of the car.

we went up to the house and walked inside. it was dark. for a reason. i turned on the light.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" everyone called.

Mary jumped and laughed.

all of our friends gathered around us and smiled at mary.

"happy birthday mary." dee said.

i tapped on mary's shoulder. sher turned around just when i pulled out the ring from my pocket. she gasped. i went down on one knee and asked the most important words i would remeber for the rest of my life.

"Mary. will you do me the honers of becoming my wife?"
