"He has not fought gods, he'd be dead." Alex accused.
"Not, not really," Nico informed us," he was 12 I believe. 12 or 13, on a quest with Annabeth and Grover and they ran into Ares, who scammed them so badly my father nearly killed them and Percy fought Ares and cut right through his Achilles Cord and you'll be damned he won that fight. That's why Ares hates him. Athena just hates him because him and Annabeth used to be best friends and they dated for like... Not quite a year I think. Zeus just hates him, hates his existence in general, so does Poseidon. My dad hasn't managed to hate him. Yet. Hera... Everyone at Camp hates her and she hates most of us its great. Percy has had words with her. Artemis just... She just never liked him and nobody really knows why. There's no real reason behind it. Everyone else is fine with him."
"You just named off like half of the 12 main Olympians that hate him. How is he not dead?"
"Because he's that damn powerful."
Percy got back after another ten minutes or so and eventually everyone was home and we all had dinner and decided to have a movie night. Lilo and Stitch. The first one. And the twins were already laid down, so was Melanie. So just the 7 of us. Zander fell asleep after 5 minutes. Mom did after 20 and after an hour I looked as Percy and Nico were on one of the pull out beds, Alex and I the other. But Paul and Mom went to their room for the night, Paul carrying Mom because she would not wake up. But when the movie was over and the girls went go their room I looked over and both Percy and Nico were passed out and the earlier conversation about the whole gay thing. Alex has been freaking out that Percy like secretly hates him for dating me.
They were both asleep and they were cuddling and they both seemed to content and so relaxed with it; it was refreshing to see that from my brother.
Mom woke up not longer after I did the next morning, I was the first one awake. And how she looked at Nico and Percy it didn't seem like she hayed them together.
I questioned her on that.
"Darling, I never shunned your sexuality," she told me," just simply a few of the people you chose to be with. I have nothing against Alex. He seems like a nice boy."
I asked about Nico with Percy and she sighed.
"I don't hate him whatsoever, he's a sweetheart," she first explained," and so far he's seemed to bring out a lot of good in Percy and have him open up more to people. And Percy does seem happy, which was becoming rarer and rarer through the years I just hope that something won't happen with like his sister and he would react the same he did when his older sister died. I love them together but I also don't and that could just be because I don't know Nico that well or because it's a fresher relationship but..."
"I'm guessing the first one," I told my mom," I mean, the kid creeps me out but that's me. And you probably know him more than I do."
And later on that day Nico just kind of pissed me off. I don't really know what the exact reason one, but he just pissed me off and I decided to get in his business.
"You know, you have a mother," I matter of factly informed him," why don't you just go home? Or even back to camp, where freaks like you belong."
He wasn't afraid of me. A man who can lift 475 all 3 ways, has 3 black belts and training for another one. I know defense, offense, the art of the Bo staff and nunchucks.
But he didn't care.
"Then why aren't you there?" He questioned," I am no more of a freak than you are."
"Then go to your mother."
"I can't."
And I accused him.
