An Inter-Planet Love Story

Chapter 5

I know Ryan is as excited as I am.I have this sudden urge to share my happiness and wonderment that the existence of life outside our planet is not just a myth or a crazy fantasy.God,this is so hard.

In fact, it was one of our crazy fantasies.

All those uncountable nights we used to sit in his back yard,talking and giggling about every trivial and non trivial thing under the sun.

And there were those nights when we chose the company of silence,me tightly wrapped in his arms,leaning in his strongly built yet soft chest,sniffing his delicious and heavenly scent..How I miss thos-

"Hey Ange-,Ag Sorry , Ziya ", I am so dreamy dreamy that I didn't notice Ryan standing in front of me.

Think of the devilishly handsome ex,and he appears.

"What is that you were thinking about ? Or should I say dreaming about?" He asks,with his typical smirk,which I find it very annoying and.. attractive.

Go ahead,curse me.

"Definitely not about you and that is all you have to know",I lie and glare at him,fighting,no,battling so hard not to be mesmerized by the green of his eyes .

"Zee,You are so strange,you know that right? One minute,you are giving me this sad smile and the next you are shooting daggers at me through your eyes!"

Hah,Blame it on me alright.Its not my fault that you are so dashingly good looking that the already broken pieces are cracking every time I see you and Just when I m trying to pick up all my broken pieces,with the hope of a whole new beginning,you appear right in front of me and startle me that all the pieces of myself I had picked  go flying in all the directions.
How is that fair?

I have no idea as to how I am supposed to react in such a situation.

He reads my thoughts right away.I didn't think he was the one for me,for no reason at all.

"For Gods sakes Zee,Do you think this is all hard only for you? That I didn't get my heart broken?" He sits next to me.No "Can I sit here" or "Move" crap.
My heart has taken this opportunity to lodge in my throat.And his broad chest..his golden hair,which I still want to ruffle are not helping at all.

"Even I thought this would be a nice opportunity for me to move on.But,I guess destiny has other plans for us.We are here,again.Shocking,yeah but I am really glad you are here, with me.I know we  are not okay.I know things between us are weird.." He sighs.

Then continues "..All this new stuff is really exciting but it would be so better if we get through this together,you are my biggest strength Zee and you know that."

Damn,this guy.He's right.It would be nice to have someone you know in a alien planet.

I give him a smile. A Small smile. Okay,a little big one."Yeah,Ryan.I am glad you are here too.So lets go through this crazy ride together uh?"

"That's my girl.Come here."He extends his arms towards me.

My girl? Butterflies are flapping in my stomach.I know I shouldn't feel this way.I know I shouldn't do what I am about to do.

But I do it anyway.It is only now that I notice the all the other girls are looking at us.I ignore the stares and jealousy glares.

Hah.Burn,girls,burn.This hottie is mine.

The tiny rational voice,which we all hate,whispers in my head,"Really?","May be ONLY for now".

Ignore.Ignore.Ignore.

I flash him a grin and throw myself in his strong arms.He is meddling with my hair,and due to the difference in his height he is able to plant a soft kiss on my head,which makes me dizzy and yet steady my heart beat and relax.

It feels so good to be in his arms.

"Zee,I think I am still in lo-"

But the lady officer interrupt him,which makes us return back to our original postures.

Without looking at his face,I know that he is frowning and he'll still be cute.

He comes so close to me,for a second I thought he was gonna kiss me.But then he says,tucking my hair behind my ear, "Zee,I 'll be with the guys for now.Anything you need,I ll be there before you even know it."
A quick peck on my cheeks and he's gone.

Stars,this boy.How am I going to resist this lovey dovey boy!? And what was he about to say? Still love me?

That thought would have to be dealt another time and in another place.Not now.

By the time I clear my head and try to focus,the officer has already finished her orders.All the students are moving and stuff.

I turn back to Rhy to ask her what all the commotion is about but she beats me to it.

"To earth,Miss.Ziya.Because we are now going to another planet.Yaxin? I really think its a stupid name for a planetAnyways,the lady officer said our luggage will be taken care of.Now we have to go through that door and they will give us some medicines it seems,to prepare and stabilize our body for the journey.Come lets go."

"Yeah,lets go."

"Go?reallyy,Just Go? I was expecting an explanation to what happened before." She points Ryan,sitting at the back.

"Not trying to pry or something,I am just concerned.I mean you just showed so many emotions and I dont know what to make of it."

"Ah Yeah,I m fine.Thanks for asking.I ll just tell you the whole story when we reach there,settle and all.Its a long story."

"Alright.But just know that I m here for you,okay?"

"I know." I give her a hug .

"Come lets rock the world,the alien world",she says laughing.

"Yup".I grin and we walk towards another of those secret doors that seemed to have popped out of nowhere.
