Liu biao lord of jingzhou soon died and his general cai mao falsely made his younger son liu Cong the lord of jing. Cao cao at the north heard the news and immediately took 500 thousand troops and attacked jing. Cai mao forced liu Cong to surrender to cao cao. Cao cao than ordered cao ren, xu Huang and Zhang liao to attack Xinye. I quickly ordered the army to lure the cao army into Xinye and burnt the whole city. As the cao army were retreating the dam exploded and zhang fei attacked them scoring a huge victory. But the peasants whose houses were burnt was not willing to disperse and wanted to follow lord Liu bei , my lord agreed and took them to retreat to jiangxia. Zhao yun took the child and tied them to his chest. He than went west to stop cao cao's pursuit. He fought over 100000 soldiers and escaped with liu Shan and passed by changban bridge which was guarded zhang fei. Cao cao than arrived there in person and told his generals that Zhang fei could take a head of a commander in midst an army of a million. All the generals looked at zhang fei in awe suddenly, zhang fei than suddenly shouted three times that shook the whole ground that some men even spat blood and fell down their horses. Cao cao even ordered a retreat. Zhang fei seeing that cao cao has retreated ordered the bridge to be pulled down. He happily retuned back and told us the he fended off the cao army. As I enquired he told us as to what happened for a moment I freaked out and asked Zhang fei as to why he pulled down the bridge he asked me why he shouldn't. I explained that cao cao is crafty and if he sees the bridge gone he would attack. Hearing that lord Liu bei retreated quickly soon we reached the river and cao cao was just behind us. Suddenly we heard screams, liu qi and guan yu have arrived with reinforcements. Lord Liu bei was wondering where did there come from I explained that I was the one who send Guan yu to jiangxia quickly to arrive with reinforcements. Lord Liu bei escaped by boat as we were leaving we saw cao cao arriving at the river and saying "he was this close".
