I looked at myself in the mirror. I was a product of the most evil love affair that has ever existed. You'd think I would look like a demon, but I do not. I look quite pretty actually. I have long curly hair. I inherited that from my mother, but my hair color is blonde, not black. I also have pale blue eyes, unlike my parents. I took a deep breath and walked down stairs. I was currently home, it was summer holiday and I was free from school, or the prison cell known as Hogwarts. You could barely move without getting in trouble, well at least for me. I was a Ravenclaw and proud, although I thought my mother was going to use the killing curse on herself when she found out. She had been positive I would be placed in Slytherin, as was my father. The sorting hat suggested it, but I didn't want to be there. Although it meant being away from Pansy which depressed me greatly, it also meant being away from Draco, which I could live with. He was and will always be a spoiled prat. I rolled my eyes at the thought of him and made my way to the kitchen.

Pocky, our house elf, was just placing breakfast on the table. It consisted of eggs, sausage, bacon, fried bread and fruit. I sat down as she brought me tea.

"Anything else Mistress Calista?" I smiled down at her, she was always so good to me.

"No thank you Pocky, it looks so good." She nodded, leaving the room. I took a bite and relished in the flavor. It was really good. My mother walked in, sitting across from me.

"How are you this morning Cal?" Although my mother was quite rude and plain vicious to everyone around, she was always loving towards me.

"Good, and you mum?" I asked through sips of tea.

"Fine, your father would like to meet with you today. He is at the Malfoy's. We will leave after breakfast. Wear something pretty, okay love?" I nodded and took another bite. My mother and I made light conversation until I finished eating. I walked upstairs and into my closet, unsure of what would be considered "pretty."

I eventually settled on a black lace dress, with a heart-shaped neck line. It was tight up until my waist, then it went out a bit until my knees. I paired it with black, round-toed heels. I grabbed a deep purple cardigan as well, before running down stairs.

My mom was standing in the front room and held her hand out to me. I took a deep breath before we apperated.
