"Oh my god. I'm totally freaking out," Alicia cried out as she sat down next to her friends at their usual table in the coffee shop. Natalie was nose deep in a book, not bothering to look up. She knew what was coming.
"What did he look like this time?" She said, her hand reaching out to grab her cup of tea. She fumbled around a bit before her hand made impact and she brought the cup to her lips.
"He had dark hair and his cheekbones are to die for. And the best part is that he had tattoos. Lots of them. Like all up both his arms and his chest!"
Sophie laughed, shaking her head. "Did you actually see his chest?"
"Not exactly, but his three top buttons where undone, which is totally hot by the way, and I'm pretty sure I saw some ink there" she came to a halt and held her hand up, knowing that Amelia was about to interrupt. "I know Amelia. I should've talked to him. But I'm so scared. I get so intimidated by his good looks. I don't know what to say"
"You could start with hello," Natalie chirped in, making the two other girls laugh. Alicia just glared at her.
Deciding to change the subject to something a bit more interesting, and most importantly not about her, Alicia turned to Amelia. "So, what's up with you and the boyfriend?"
"Nothing special" Amelia smiled a little, thinking about the gorgeous man she was so lucky to have. "We went on a date this weekend. We saw Captain America. It was amazing!"
"Did you make out?" Natalie said, finally ripping her eyes of her book to look at her friends. Sophie grinned, turning to Amelia and urging her on.
"Yeah did you?"
"No we didn't. I don't see what's the big deal about making out in the movie theatre. We go there to see a movie, not feel each other up" Amelia said, not really satisfied with the way her friends were acting. "And besides. I like keeping the make out sessions behind locked doors"
"Oh, hanky panky you mean?" Alicia chuckled, obviously loving the attention being on someone other than her.
"Yeah, did you go back to Dylan's room and make sweet, sweet love?" Natalie eyes were big, just the way they always were when she got excited. The three of them loved teasing Amelia about this stuff. They all knew Amelia loved her boyfriend, but the two of them liked to keep it all on a down low. Let's just say they weren't such big fans of PDA.
"Stop it you guys. I didn't mean it like that. What we did last night is none of your business" Amelia rolled her eyes. "Can we talk about something else now?"
All eyes automatically turned to Sophie, who was nose deep in her phone, typing away without a care in the world. She had obviously not been a part of the teasing that had taken place a minute earlier. Feeling their eyes on her, Sophie looked up, her eyebrows rising a bit in question. "What?"
"Seen any nice guys lately?"
"Yeah a few. The guys here are really good looking" Sophie smiled
"I know right? They are so-" Alicia suddenly stops, her eyes plastered on something in the far back of the cafe. "God damn delicious" she finished.
Natalie turned in the direction Alicia was looking, rolling her eyes when she saw the obvious reason why Alicia zoned out. "You should probably keep your voice down if you don't want them to hear. One of them just looked up at you"
"What?" Alicia snapped her head away from the guys, her face immediately turning red.
Amelia chuckled, while she patted Alicia reassuringly on the shoulder. "Don't worry. I bet he didn't see who it was"
"Yeah, if he didn't see Alicia's red face" Natalie shot in, making Alicia go even redder "practically lights up the whole room"
"Stop it! You're making it worse!"
Sophie shook her head and slipped her phone in to her pocket. "Gotta go. Got places to be. I'll probably be back at our dorm room sometime around eleven" she said, the last part directed at Alicia.
"Where are you going?" Natalie asked, curious as always.
"Out"
Natalie rolled her eyes. "Yeah, obviously. Out where?"
"Just out. Don't be so nosy" Sophie threw her bag over her shoulder, waved a goodbye and headed out before the girls could ask any more questions
