Zeref's P.O.V

"Alright Class ! Here are the tests from last week."Gildarts , our English Teacher , said.

(A/N:I really wanted to make happy as the teacher , like in the ova, but that wouldn't have quite worked.... :( )

"Good job Levy and Lucy! You both got a 1. "

They gave each other a high five as the teacher walked away.

Gildarts went to my little brother's desk and gave the test in to Natsu's hand.

"Alright I guess......"

"NYAHAHAAHAH! I got a  4- YOU ICE PERVERT!!!!! " He screamed while pointing his finger in Gray's direction.

"Tsk."

"NYAAHAHAH! YOU ONLY GOT A 5!!!!"

"Shut up Flame brain!"

They kept arguing until a very mad Erza knocked both of them out.

Gildarts just ignored them and continued giving out our tests.

He went to my desk with a disappointed face.

"Well Zeref.. I know you can do better." he sighed.

He gave me my test and I just stare at it.

"I - I got a 6- ??????????!!!" I almost screamed.

Everybody turned around and gave me sympathetic faces.

"Yes. But I know that you could do better then that... So learn for the next test alright?"

I just could't believe it....

I know that I had a bad feeling about this test , but I didn't know that I would be this bad!

Out of the corner of my eye I could see Mavis trying to go to me , but Gildarts stopped her and gave her , her test.

"Good job Mavis!You are class best."

He gave her  a test where a big red 1+ is written on it.

"W-what?"she said.

"There's no way , that I am class best..."

"No , it's true you are ! Maybe you don't believe me , but you are a smart kid."

*Ding Dong*

"Alright !That's it for today's class."

Everybody is rushing out ,to catch their train or their bus.

(A/N:Well atleast it's like that in my school xD)

Leaving me and Mavis alone.

"Zeref are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah... I am just a bit disappointed  that's all...."

"I see.. the test was pretty hard after all. So it's no suprise. .H-EH No Offense ..eh...Oh god.. I am so sorry I didn't mean it like that!"

"It's okay.. I understand what you're trying to say."
