However, Oak happens to walk by and hear so he walks in
Oak: Actually, Ms. Juniper they had some very important arrands I needed them to do, so they wont be recieving detention (secretly winks at Ash and Mewtwo)
Teacher: Yes sir
After Class with Oak
Oak: I understand you were doing something very important this morning, right?
Ash: Well, actually we had an emergency mission late last night and were very tired when we got back and accidently slept in...
Oak sweatdrops
Mewtwo: But there is some important news we would like you to know!
