Quiet mornings and loud afternoons,
Children screaming like wild baboons,
Rolling and tumbling down steep hills,
Riding your scooter for tons of thrills,
Where did thIs all go?One big fuss started sTarted this Merry-Go-Round,
Leading to us leaving my hometoWn,
One life ends and 2 other begIn,
No more hard work on pLay grounds and no more friends,
Why did alL this occur?Mother teaches me lessons of speaking my mind,
Grandfather trying too, But ran out if time,
Things gEtting worst but, Momma trying,
Taking cAre of us, keeping us from crying,
Why don't we ever thank her? After 2 more turns on the Merry-Go-Round,
Closer to home, my hometown,
Meeting new friends that started a foundation,
Made me smiLe, no more depression,
Is this too good to be tRue?Yea I miss the first stop on the Merry-Go-Round,
But I don't wanna leave thIs welcoming new town,
This place is like no other I've ever seen,
Even though the neGative, so please let notHing intervene,
Will things just stay The same? Now I understand he Merry-Go-Round,
New friends and new beginnings,
No more frowns, no more sorrow,
It was all to start a better tomorrow,
Did Momma know this would happen?I thank my Momma and everyone,
Who brought me up and helped me become,
An intelligent individual with a lot to say,
Being caring, kind and helping me see in a new way,
I hope this never ends.(The capital letters, not at the beginning of the lines in the stanzas, spell out a phrase starting with the title, if I need to take it out, I will, I just thought it was kinda cool. It spells out Change CAN Happen. IT WILL BE ALRIGHT)
