I trusted you,

You trusted me.

We were just friends,

and it was better than being strangers

I've seen you through pain,

although you've never seen mine

I hid it, because I didn't want your worry

Since my happiness depended on yours

We were happy,

I could tell

Making jokes and telling stories,

until one of us were tired

and i love how we'd reach midnight talking.

You told me secrets that you knew

I was willing to keep

While I kept mine,

scared of regret and because i thought it was too early

For my only secret,

is about my feelings for you
