Makoto's POV

I sit in the classroom with Haru in wait for class to start. "Hello class. We have a new student today. Her name is (y/n) (l/n)." Ama-sensei looks to the door and motions a person in. This person has a foreign name, I have never heard of it before, but it sounds pretty. I look up from my desk with a smile to look at the person. In fact, she is a girl.

"Hello. My name is (y/n). I am from (c/n *country name*), I am on an exchange. I hope we all get along and become close friends." She says in an angelic voice and in very good Japanese, I must say.

"(y/n), please take a seat next to Nanase-kun." I feel slightly disappointed as the girl looked around the class.

"Who?" she asks with a small smile and curious eyes.

"Haruka Nanase. He is in the back corner, the window side."Ama-sensei says. (y/n)-chan looks at her, confused with what she had said. Ama-sensei points towards Haru. The (h/c) haired girl nods at her request and moves through the desks. All of the boys turn around as she walks towards Haru. Haru takes no notice until she sits down next to him.

He looks ups and utters "Hello. Haru." He says, bowing his head.

"Hello Haru-kun. I'm (y/n). Nice to meet you." She smiles widely and bows back at him.

I look around to see all the boys get jealous. She looks away from Haru and looks into my eyes, her large, (e/c) eyes. We make eye contact. The other boys growled even lower. (y/n) just nodded her head and looked away. I turned back around, facing Ama-sensei. "Alright everyone, now that that is done, how about we start class?" she begins class and we all come to a silence, but little did I know, someone close by was watching me.

Your POV

I'll be honest, I'm excited and nervous. I am from (c/n) and I don't know a lot about the Japanese culture other than to always be polite and to be thankful. "Hello class. We have a new student today. Her name is (y/n) (l/n)." I hear my name and see the teacher motion for me to enter. I enter the class, as I walk, I look at all of my new classmates. I take notice of a boy with very broad shoulders at the second row from the back. His green eyes shone in the light of the sun that enters through the window. His olivey, brown hair looks soft and messy, but a nice messy. He looks towards me and smiles. I look away and go behind the teacher's desk.

"Hello. My name is (y/n). I am from (c/n), I am on an exchange. I hope we all get along and become close friends." I look towards everyone happily, but still feeling shy. I hear whispers and chatter, most things, I don't understand.

"(y/n), please take a seat next to Nanase-kun." I look around the class to find my neighbour, although, I don't know who she is talking about.

"Who?" I ask, becoming more nervous in front of the class.

"Haruka Nanase. He is corner, window."Ama-sensei says, I think. It make no sense. I look at her, helpless and confused with what she had said. She points towards a boy with black hair that is looking out the window. I nod at her request and move through the desks, trying to not make eye contact with anyone. I feel stares at my back and hear the unreadable whispers. I look towards Nanase and sit down in my chair next to his. As I take my seat, I notice him move his head and mutters "Hello. Haru." He bows his head at me. I take notice of what he wants me to call him. The words were almost inaudible but I still reply politely.

"Hello Haru-kun. I'm (y/n). Nice to meet you." I bow towards him with a smile. I think to myself for a moment 'I am going to have fun here' but this was thought until I hear the girls growling at me. I probably just won't have any friends here. I look away from Haru to meet the emerald green eyes and chiselled face. Our eyes connect with each other. Not a thing moves out of place nor breaths. I hear the girls growl further. I don't feel afraid from the glares and growls though, staring into these eyes almost make me feel comforted. I nod my head his way with an almost nervous face, my eyes opened wide with no smile. I look away but keep watch of the boy.
