"This house has suffered a great loss." Jay stated to the press. But i promise, to my three children, my guests and to my staff, that i will find the murder who has done this unspeakable act in my home. And persecute him."

"Mr. president, how will you protect your home while the murder walks freely?" Asked a reporter. 

"I will be putting a guard on each of my children. And one in every room of the house."

"I cant believe you dyed your hair Scarlet." Kristine said. "well i thought with everything going on i needed a change." I said as i combed my fingers through my now cherry red hair. 

"Well i think it looks fantastic, it fits you" My Mom said as she hugged me. "I got to go now my darling, Jay has a meeting with some reporters. But make sure you don't leave Mikes sight."

I waved to mike as he stood outside my room. "Okay but i'm probably gonna have Carly and Tom in my room most of the night."

"Fine just make sure if you leave the room that Mike is with you." Kris said.

"Wow. Nice hair Scar." Tom said as he and Carly stepped into my room and closed the door. "Um...Thanks." Scarlet said blushing. "So have you guys gave any thought about what happened?" Scarlet asked, siting down on her bed. 

"Well i think that it was someone who wanted to get to my dad." Tom said as he sat down beside Scarlet on the bed. "But Why would someone try to kill the president and end up killing the chef?" 

Scarlet laid back and picked up the diary. "And who left this Diary?" Scarlet pondered. "I don't know maybe a cleaning lady accidentally left it here while she was cleaning?" Carly said. "Sweety i don't think thats what happend." Tom said. 

"Hey Carly do you want to go watch a princess movie with Mike in the theatre down stairs?" Scarlet asked. "Yeah!" Carly shouted. I opened the door and told Mike that Carly wanted to go watch a movie and asked that he go with her. "Okay sweetheart lets go." Mike said and grabbed Carlys hand and headed to the theater. 

Tom got up and closed the door, and sat back down beside scarlet. "Sorry i just don't think we should discuss this in front of Carly." Scarlet said as she put the book down and laid down on the bed. "It's fine i was thinking the same thing. So what do you think we should do?" Asked Tom. 

" I don't know maybe we should start asking the other chefs what they think."

"Okay Nancy Drew don't you think we should leave it up to the FBI?" Tom said.

"Okay." Scarlet laughed "I'll give it a few weeks and if they don't catch who ever did this i'm gonna start investigating." 

Scarlet opened the diary started reading aloud.

"I had that dream again. I know that my time is coming to an end but all i can think about is my Wife. And pray that she lives a long happy life after i'm gone." Scarlet read. 

"Wow." Tom said 

They read more of the diary and eventually feel asleep in the bed.
