The great Akali, Fist of Shadows and one of the last ninjas of the Kinkō Order, suddenly awoke from her meditation in fear. It was deep into the night when her meditation began. It was supposed to be peaceful and quiet, but she had been startled by a vision that led her to this very moment. She tightened the waist rope around her kimono, put her hair into a ponytail, wore some slippers and went outside her room for some fresh air, pondering about what she had seen in her vision.

In the café at the wing opposite the staying rooms of the Champions of the League, Master Yi, Ryze, Elise, and Karma were enjoying the matcha teas that were served to them along with donuts covered in a matcha glaze. This café, which was run by Morgana, Fizz, and Nami, was having a matcha sale: a sale in which matcha flavored pastries and beverages came for free.

"Even Master Chef Tahm Kench has enjoyed these lovely pastries created by Morgana," Master Yi commented, sipping on his cup of matcha tea. He removed his lenses of insight and set them down on the table, revealing two emerald eyes on his Ionian looking face. "A shame she never worked with Pantheon ever," he continued.

"Do not be discouraged, Wuju Bladesman, " Karma replied, "There will be a time for everything, even their collaboration."

"Agreed, Duchess Karma," Ryze added, stroking his beard, "and time has told me that I forgot to do my yoga."

"Yoga, professor?" Elise snickered, "That's old school, and besides, it doesn't work with eight legs."

"Not even with ten limbs," Ryze replied, "but I speculate."

Akali ran up to the four who were enjoying the matcha promotion. The spider Queen was first to notice her and she greeted, "Hey Akali! How's your meditation going?"

"I wish it went well throughout," the young ninja said with a sigh, "but I had seen a horrific vision while I meditated."

"Take that chair and sit with us," Karma replied, and the ninja did as she was told, following the Duchess as if she were her daimyo.

"Now bend your head towards me," Karma then said to her and she followed. The Duchess placed a hand on her head, took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. Akali felt spiritual energy enter her mind; to her it was a warm sensation.

After a few seconds of channeling, Karma suddenly opened her eyes in fear and stopped her channeling of Akali's mind. "What did you see?" Ryze asked.

"The Fist of Shadows," Karma replied, "but not exactly her, rather a carbon copy."

My twin sister who was lost so many years ago! Akali thought in her head.

"What else?" the mage professor asked.

"This carbon copy of Akali was below the navel a spider, and her leg pierced Akali right through her heart," Karma continued.

"Must be the work of Vile'maw," Elise replied, and then gave a huge sigh.

"And a giant spider was behind her," Karma replied.

"Definitely Vile'maw!" Elise exclaimed, rising to her full height.

"Please sit," Master Yi replied, "and show some etiquette." The spider woman returned to her seat, but her eyes showed a look of contempt against her god.

"Is that all?" Professor Ryze asked.

"That is all," Karma replied, taking a bite off a matcha glazed donut.

"Immediately, we must get some rest," Master Yi said, "for tomorrow, we shall find out what that vision means."

"The vision showed a very dark and twisted forest where the sky is eternal night," Karma replied.
