(It is the first day at school and everyone is on edge. The senior are already ready to leave and the freshmen are excited to finally be in high school. No one really knows what is going to happen until it happens. We follow Beth, a senior who is more than ready for this year to be over so she can just go to college.)
Beth: (center talking straight to the audience in an aside) No one really knows what to actually do on the first day. I think by your fourth year in this hell hole you should. Where you sit and who stay away from. My one wish is to stay from away from...(Lily makes her entrance and everyone stops to stare as if she were the queen.) the queen bitch Lily. (Beth bows at the queen with out her noticing) She thinks she's all that and really she's just scared of being alone and broke! (walks to her locker to get ready for her day, scene resumes)
Lily: (replaces the place where Beth once stood) This is my school. These are my halls. Oh, it feels so good to be back. This is going to be my year to make sure these people never forget my name. Especially (Beth closes loudly locker which throws Lily off for a second. The two make eye contact for a split second then snarl and look away.) her. The girl who thinks she could ruin me in 8th grade. I have done everything in my being to ruin her high school year and this is my last year before we leave these hallow halls.
George: (replaces the place were Lily was stand) This is it. Senior year. My last year here in this town and in this school. Next year I'll be off to some other place to play Baseball for college and be head pitcher as a freshmen. Seems crazy that this has happened so fast. I feel we were just entering High School yesterday. Since it is my last year though it time to take matter into my own hands. (looks over at Beth) By the end of this year that girl will be mine! (pointing at Beth)
