"I think I'm going to go with him." She sighs.
"I'm happy for you." I lie. My rage builds up and I can't sit with her any longer knowing she's about to leave me. "But I'm not going to sit here with you when your going to leave me anyway, if your going to go then just go already." I stand up and walk out the girls bathroom in tears.
I swing open the door to see Ethan still waiting for me in the corridor. "Go away Ethan." I sigh as I swipe away a tear. I walk quickly down the hallway, I have no idea where I'm going I just have to get away from people.
"Ella wait!" Ethan calls after me before running to catch up. "Are you crying?" He asks softly.
"I said go away." I hiss, increasing my speed. Ethan ignores me and refuses to leave my side. "Stop following me!"
"Not until you tell me why your so upset." He states.
"It's nothing! I just want to get away from everyone." I state angrily, wanting to be alone more than anything. Suddenly, Ethan grabs my arm and puts a hand on my hips before pulling me into a room.
"There your away from everyone." Ethan smirks.
"Your still here." I state, folding my arms.
"Well I'm not the same as everyone." He says. "So what's up with you?"
"It's nothing Ethan." I sigh, sitting on a desk and staring at my feet. I don't want to think about Abby but I cant help it.
Ethan gently holds my chin and turns it up so I'm forced to look at him. "Ella, what's wrong? I've never seen you cry before." Ethan says.
"It's Abby." I sigh. "Her parents split and she's moving to Canada with her dad."
"Oh what a bitch!" Ethan gasps sarcastically in a girly voice.
"It's not that." I giggle. "I just can't believe she's leaving me and this school to go start over in Canada, I don't know what I'm going to do without her." There's a small pause of silence whilst we both think. "I don't know, maybe I'm just being selfish."
"Your not selfish Ella." Ethan says, sitting on the desk next to me. "In this world you have to take what you want and never back down or you never get anything in life. If you want Abby to stay then try to convince her."
"I guess your right." I smile. "When did you become kind and intelligent?"
"Since you came around." I can't help but blush at Ethan's comment, I usually only see the smug and jokey side to him. I stare up into his brown eyes and get lost in them.
"Ella." Grayson says, breaking the moment. "Abby is looking for you."
"Oh." I say, breaking eye contact with Ethan and looking at Grayson. "I need to talk to her too, do you know where she is?"
"In the cafeteria." Grayson replies. I hop off the desk and rush there, hoping to get to my destination before the bell went.
Grayson's POV:
"On the off chance this'll make me sound like a jealous boyfriend, stay away from Ella." I say to Ethan.
"There's no chance about it, you do sound jealous." Ethan smirks.
"I mean it Ethan. I know your intentions with Ella and I assure you she does not have the same ones, at least not with you."
