The Seat In Front Of Me

"I see two new hot guys." Abby, my best friend, states.

"I see them too, so does everyone else, keep walking." I nudge her as she's holding up everyone trying to get into school.

"They were so hot!" She exclaims, embarrassingly loud as we approach our lockers.

"Remember Dean? Your boyfriend?" I question her with a small chuckle.

"Oh yeah. I love him so much." She says which makes me role my eyes. "Hey! Just because I have a boyfriend doesn't mean I can't appreciate other guys too."

"I guess." I sigh, putting some books away.

"Besides they suit you more." Abby smirks. I barely hear her though, I'm too focused on Tyler, my ex boyfriend, I broke up with him last fall and he hates me, I feel so bad. "Hello!? Earth to Ella!" She shouts, snapping her fingers in front of my face.

"Sorry... Tyler hates me." I sigh, leaning back on my locker.

"He doesn't hate you, he misses you but he's too cool to show it." She says.

"I don't think that's it." I state.

"Sure it is, he's the captain of the football team, he has a reputation to keep up which includes not being heartbroken. Besides I think you should be focusing more on the new twins." Abby explains.

"I don't even know anything about them." I chuckle, turning my attention away from Tyler and to something more positive. 

"Then learn." Abby says before pushing me backwards, making me crashing into the two new, hot twins.

"I'm so sorry." I say quickly.

"It's cool." One of them says.

"I'm Grayson." The other introduces.

"Ella." I reply.

"And I'm Ethan." The first one says. For some reason I can't seem to take my eyes off either one of them.

"I see you guys are new here, you getting to your first class okay?" I ask them.

"Yeah, we got some teacher called Mr Crawford." Grayson answers.

"In that case I hope your both on your best behaviour, he's a tough teacher." I say to them.

"I'm never on my best behaviour." Ethan smirks at me. Grayson gives him a small nudge before talking again.

"Then wish us look." I step aside and they both continue walking down the corridor. Little did I know that was the first conversation of many and the beginning of a very confusing journey for me. I still wonder if Abby didn't push me into them then maybe I wouldn't of met them at all and carried on as normal?

"I can't believe you pushed me." I say, returning to Abby's side.

"Oh please, your so glad I did." She scoffs. "Also Tyler didn't take his eyes off you when you were talking to them."

"Great so now I have a jealous, mad ex to deal with." I sigh before slamming my locker door shut.

"On the bright side your in with two hotties!" Abby squeals.

"Let's just head to class." I sigh. We walk to our first lesson which is as boring as usual but then my second lesson is different, better.

"Ella, right?" Ethan questions me as we wait outside of class.

"And which one are you? Ethan or Grayson?" I ask him.

"Take a guess, I'm the hotter one." Ethan smirks.

"You both look identical but from your personality and big ego I'm guessing you Ethan." I answer smartly.

"How do you know my personality? This is the second time we've met." Ethan states.

"What can I say? I'm a good judge of character." I giggle.

"Oh hi Ella, nice to see you again." Grayson says, appearing behind Ethan.

"Hi Grayson." I smile.

"Any warnings for this teacher?" He asks.

"No, she's a sweetheart, one of the nicest teachers in the school." I reply. The door swings open and everyone piles inside

"Ethan, Grayson. Where are we going to put you two?" Miss Brandlebury thinks out loud. I look around to see there are two seats near me, one in front of me and one next to that.

"Ooh, which one do you want in front of you?" Abby asks from my right.

"I want my friend to mind her own business." I smirk in a jokey way. 

"There's two seats right there." Miss says pointing to them. Ethan and Grayson step forward and rush to the seat in front of me, subtly pushing each other, eventually Grayson sits down and shoves Ethan away.
