A/N: Hello, okay this story would not leave my head. So we will see where this story takes us. This is AU and a Samchel story.

Sam was sitting in the choir room of the newly named William McKinley Performing Arts High School.
The school had recently won Nationals after it was restored thankfully. Even though Mr. Shue had been a huge influence, it was Rachel Berry who had gone to the Superintendent to have Glee reinstated and took on Crazy Sue Sylvester. Damn, he was proud of that woman.
If you had told Sam that he would have feelings for the once loud yet adorable Diva, he would have asked what you were smoking, and where to get some. Maybe Puck. Hahaha.
Sam was preparing his first lesson for Glee club. He will be taking over running the club while Will Shue runs the school and Rachel moves back to New York eventually. Speaking of, he hears her sweet voice in the next room.
Sam gets up, and pauses at the door of his office and watches his pint-size beauty. Rachel was actually wearing skinny jeans, a low cut sweater but still classy. That describes Rachel. In high school everyone teased her clothing choices, but he thought it defined Rachel. She didn't need to try, she was simply beautiful. He wished he hadn't wasted so much time on the variety of Glee women he dated.
Sam must have been lost in his world of Rachel Berry, because he missed Blaine clearing his throat. Recently Dalton merged with New Directions when Dalton Academy burned to the ground.
*Cough*
Blaine: Sam!
Sam: Huh? Oh hey Blaine, what's up bro?
Blaine smirked. He knew that his best friend had a crush on Rachel Berry. Heck, Blaine himself once had feelings for her too. The only woman to make him question his sexuality.
Blaine: I've been calling your name. Why don't you put everyone out of our misery, and put a ring on it.
Sam: I don't know what you mean. It would be too soon.
Blaine: Yet you gave a promise ring to Quinn and tried to marry Brittany because you thought the world was ending.
Sam: Hey, I was young, in love, and....shut up dude.
Blaine: Hahaha Samchel..actually Evanberry is better. Blainchel's even better.
Sam: Hey you have Kurt, back off my Berry.
Rachel: Boys, how many time must I say I don't belong to anyone. I'm not a possession to own.
Kurt: Oh save it, Diva, you love it.
Rachel: So what's the lesson for today?
Mason: Yes, what is today's lesson?
Sam: Well...I thought we would do a little country.
Kitty: Oh crap, why torture us. We don't sing country.
Rachel: Not true. Noah and I sang "Need you now" in the past.
Sam: Anyways, I will demonstrate. Country speaks to me. This particular song makes me think of a special someone and I may have something I need to ask her.
Kurt: Oh my Gaga, are they happening?! I call Wedding Planner.
Blaine: Kurt, I love you. But this isn't about you, don't jinx it. Besides I already have dibs.
Rachel sat at the piano wondering who Sam was talking about. She couldn't help feeling a pang of jealousy. Maybe it was Mercedes. Sigh.
Sam grabbed his guitar, and looked at his class.
Sam: Listen closely.... *Sam glanced at Rachel with a small smile*
See You Tonight" (A/N: Scotty McCreery)
(Sam)
Girl, you know I love talking to you on the phone
I could listen to your sweet voice all night long
Sometimes I can get by with a sweet dreams baby good night,
But this time, well, I don't wanna spend it alone*Sam got up to move close to Rachel, who blushed, and Sam thought it was the most adorable thing. *
(Sam)
So I'm coming over, I hope it's alright
Listen for me pulling into your drive
Look out your window—you'll see my lights
Baby girl, I gotta see you tonight
The way the breeze is blowing, blowing
Got me wishing I was holding, holding
Holding you so tight under that porch light
But girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight
Girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight.*Sam showing pictures on his phone of Rachel. She was his screensaver*
I got a couple hundred pictures of your pretty face
On my phone, on my dash—all over the place
But I would drive a million miles
Just to see that little smile in real life
Baby, it's worth the drive,
You're worth the drive.*Blaine joined in with Sam, harmonizing*
*Sam leaned in and Rachel kissed his cheek*
So I'm coming over, I hope it's alright
Listen for me pulling into your drive
Look out your window—you'll see my lights
Baby girl, I gotta see you tonight
The way the breeze is blowing, blowing
Got me wishing I was holding, holding
Holding you so tight under that porch light
But girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight
Girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight, whoa. No, I don't care what time it is,
I just gotta get a little moonlight kiss
Girl, I can't help it when I feel like this
There's only one thing to do
Baby, I'm missing youI'm coming over, I hope it's alright
Listen for me pulling into your drive
Look out your window—you'll see my lights
Baby girl, I gotta see you tonight
The way the breeze is blowing, blowing
Got me wishing I was holding, holding,
Holding you so tight under that porch light
But girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight
Girl, I gotta see you tonight, tonight, tonight, yeah, yeahGirl, I gotta see you tonight (tonight, tonight)
As Sam was finishing, he smiled at Rachel.
Sam: So Rachel, in case you didn't get the message. Can I see you tonight?
Rachel smiled and butterflies fluttering.
Rachel: Sam, I would absolutely love to see you tonight. Pick me up at 7pm.
Sam: Yes!! *Fist pumping the air*
Okay, class dismissed.Rachel giggled as she walked out the room, swaying her hips as she walked past Sam, giving him a wink.
Sam couldn't help watch her leave. Damn, she was going to slowly kill him. What a way to go! Time to get ready to see her tonight.
A/N: First chapter done. This will be friendship, romance, some angst perhaps. Read & Review.
