LUCY P.O.V.

"What do I do now?" Guilt has been eating me since I reported Lisanna and Natsu to the authorities. It's been a week now. A long, hard week. What has happened to them? Are they alive? Questions I've been repeating throughout my head over and over again. The worst part is, it's all my fault. I was the one that reported them, and now I face the harsh consequences. Why do I feel so bad though? They both treated me like trash. Is it because I might've been the cause of the loss of two irrelevant lives? I needed to vent this out.

I strolled through the hallways and passed by the maids, the slaves, and the owners. Shuddering as seeing the harsh things been done to the slaves for violating rules, I race-walked to Levy's apartment. Knocking loudly, she opened the door and peeked outside to see who it was. Her face turned pale when seeing my face, which left me with confusion. "Levy, is there something wrong?" A moment of silence followed my question. She stared at the floor and muttered "I'm sorry" and closed the door rapidly. What the fuck was that? Why would she do that? I knocked several times, but with to no avail. Sighing, I went back to my apartment, but something was strange. Everyone gave me menacing stares, those given to criminals. I ignored them by my confusion of the recent event, and silently went and opened the door to my apartment. What I saw though, caught me by surprise. My tables were flipped over, all my books were scattered, the walls were ripped, as if a wolf had somehow clawed it. The rugs were split in half and there was feathers everywhere due to the ripped-open pillows. There was words in the wall. "When the wind blows." I've heard that before.. a famous children's book. It was about a little girl who commit a crime, and was killed for it. At least, that was the literal meaning of it. In the story, the little girl went to heaven. Was this some sort of warning? And then I realized something.

Levy acting strange, the menacing stares, the room, the words on the wall and the meaning behind it.

They were coming after me.
