          Chapter 1

I always hated going to school. I'm the cheer captain and everyone loved me. I have three bestfriends, Alison, Bonnie and Cassie. I called these my abc's. School was a waste of time for me.

I walked in with my girls behind me. Like always everyone stopped and stared at us. I wanted senior year to be over. You would think I loved all the attention but I didn't. I notice that everyone was whispering. I stopped at my locker.

"What happened?" I asked the girls.

"Well, there's a new guy," Alison said.

"And?" I asked.

"We heard umm well-" Bonnie said as Cassie cut her off.

"He killed his family & other people," she whispered.

The school doors open and there he was. The murder. He was wearing a black leather jacket with dark blue jeans. He had shaggy brown hair. He kept his eyes at the ground. He didn't look like a murder.

It was the end of school. The bell just rang and everyone was leaving. I made my way to my car. Sitting on a bench by my car was him, the murder. I stayed calm and took my keys out of my purse. I made it to my car. I got in and locked the doors. I looked at the bench. He was gone. I looked around but he was no where to be found. I started my car. A knock on my window made me jump. I looked and saw it was him.

"May I help you?" I asked.

"Could I have a ride?" He asked. Wtf I thought. I didn't know what to say.

"Sure." I said.

He got in on the otherside. I started to drive out of the parking lot.

"So, where do you live" I asked.

"Walnut Drive," he stated.

"I live on the same street," I said.

We made are way down the street. Then he told me to stop. We were stopped at the house that was across from my house. He got out of the car. I rolled down the window.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Charles," He said and walked into the house.
