Chapter 13

*you say "yes please!"*

"Yes please!" I say excitedly.
"On one condition, we go to the medium hoop" Jacob said
"Ok.." I sighed.

If I can't even throw into a small hoop, I definitely won't be able to do the medium one!  I thought to myself. We walked over to the medium hoop.

"There's no one here, this should be pretty easy" Jacob said. I smiled nervously and nodded. Jacob threw the ball from where he was standing and got it in. He looked at me and smiled.

"H- wha- how?" I stuttered. Jacob laughed.
"It takes a lot of practice, but when you have a coach like me, you will be the queen of basketball in like 5 minutes!" Jacob replied
"Yeah right!" I replied.
"Come on! Shoot!" Jacob said.

I picked up the ball and threw it to the hoop from where I was. And I missed... By a lot!
"Come on Y/n, you can do better!" I just laughed and tried again. This time I was closer but I was still pretty far off.

"Ok, we're going to need to do a little work on this!" Jacob said. I laughed an said "yeah... A lot!" We both laughed and then Jacob picked up the ball and put it in my hands. He also picked up a spare ball that was on the ground so that he could help.

"So first, hold the ball like this." Jacob said, showing me how to hold it. "Like this?" I asked.
"Almost," Jacob said. He moved my hand to the right position and looked at me in the eye with his hand still on mine.
We stood there for a few seconds, smiling, and then Jacob moved his hand away. To be honest, I felt sparks, a lot of them!

Jacob continued showing me how to shoot the perfect goal. I hit the ring about 7 times, and I got a goal 9 times! Every time I got a goal, Jacob would hug me. I found it slightly weird because we only met today, but oh whale! He is my Bae after all!😂

I was about to shoot again but then Jacob said "Y/n! Next activity!" I quickly turned around and saw everyone else at the foam pit. I threw the ball in backwards and started walking to the pit but Jacob didn't move. He just stood there, eyes wide. "Uhh Jacob?" I said waving my hand in front of his face. He grabbed my hand and pulled me over.
"You did it!" He whispered
"Did what?" I asked confused
"You got a perfect backwards goal!" Jacob faced me
"I had to practice ages to do that!" He whined
I laughed
"well as you said, I will be the queen of basketball. And... I am!" I said
Jacob laughed and looked into my eyes for a second

"Beat you there!" Jacob yelled and started running.
"Ohh its on!" I yelled and sprinted to the foam pit
Jacob and I both arrived at the same time

"I won!" I said
"No! I won!" Jacob replied
"Umm no! I won!" I argued
"Guys it was a draw!" Someone yelled sounding annoyed

I turned around and Mark had his palm on his face. Me and Jacob just laughed.

"Guys hurry up!!" Cam said, doing a flip into the pit.
