Chapter 5- Party

My dream was simple. I stood on a cliff over looking at the raging ocean as far as the eye could see, below the waves crashed roughly onto the side of the cliff. Behind me seemed to be a deep green forest that was filled with life. Butterflies gracefully made its way threw trees and bird songs seemed to feel the air along with the crashing of the waves. The sun was out and everything seemed to have peace. But if felt lonely. As beautiful as it was it was very lonely. I wish I could bring Jane here and my family, we could live here happily without a care in the world. But this place only existed in my mind, but I wish it was real. 'What should I name this lonely paradise'? I begin to talk out loud.

"Metopia? No, No. Calamity, I don't like that name anymore. Malgoria?" for some odd reason I loved that name, it reminded me of my childhood when I named my tree house Malgoria "Malgoria, Mal-go-ria." I repeated. I laid down on the fuffy grass that surrounded me and closed my eyes.

"Michelle...Michelle! If you don't wake up were going to be late." Jane shook me frantically.

"Ok. Ok." I yawned out and rubbed my eyes into focus. I hopped off the couch and headed to the bathroom. I took a quick shower because I wanted to smell fresh for the party. I put on the dress and did my hair. I put my hair in one of those cute messy buns. I applied little make up because I was only going to mess it up in the end. Once I was happy with my appearance I walked out, and Jane stared at me in awe.

"You look amazing, wow. Craig is going to wish he still had you." she smiled and put her hand on her hip.

She looked amazing too her curly hair and her brown skin completion went wonderful with her little red dress she was wearing. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door.

The party was only blocks away from my house. The music was so loud that it made the house rock and my ears ring.

Drunk people were passed out on the neatly cut grass. And couples kissed in front of the house. Ewwww!

I raised an eyebrow "Well this party looks fun." I said sarcastically

"Yolo!" Jane yelled as she hopped out the car excitedly.

I got out the car. I could be in my pj's watching repeats of the Vampire diaries while eating burgers and icecream while I cried dry. Not that I didn't enjoy going to a good party, just not now or today. I had a strange feeling about this party probably because I didn't want to be here.

Jane was already across the street waving me over to come. I joined her as she skipped into the entrance of the party.

The party looked awesome everybody seemed to be enjoying themseleves. It was hot a crowded from all the people dancing around.

Shit! I lost Jane! Now I felt lost and awkward at this party. So I found the patio and sat in a empty chair outside. The patio was filled with smoking people(Smoking is eViL) and cute couples.

"Hey Mrs. Leyton" a husky deep voice said behind me

I turned to see woo Devon? what was he doing here?

*Couple hours later*

We laughed hysterically as Devon cracked another joke.

"I forgot you were that funny." I said between laughs

"And I forgot how hot you look when you laugh." he said laughing still

"Ohhh...Thanks." I said shyly and blushed slightly

Devon used to be one of my best friend in high school until he moved and we lost contact. If Devon hadn't moved he would probably be my boyfriend instead of Craig. He had chocolate brown hair that curled and light brown almost hazel eyes. He was about 6'5. He was super cute.
