Chp2: Dancing Is My Light

Araya's P.O.V

I walk into the studio and flick the lights on. Its a shame we are such great dancers and our parents(Me,Ash, + Dani parents) haven't come out to see us once yet. We won multiple scholarships, about 500 awards. I pop in my iPod and start it and put it on shuffle. I just start dancing.
(1hr 30 mins later)
I lost track of time it felt like minutes since I started dancing. I wonder where the smurfs are. All of a sudden all I hear is clapping and whistling. It sounds like multiple people I know its not just Dani and Ash so I whip around and get into fighting stance. Your probably wondering how I know how to fight well, me Ash and Dani are the top 3 street fighters and we street dance for fun. We professional dance for fun too but its a bit more serious. Back to the story I see my brothers, mom, dad, Dani, and Ash standing there in the door way from shortest to tallest. So I dropped my arms and breathe a sign of relief.

I ask blushing, "How long have y'all been standing there? "

"About 15 mins ladybug."Ash snorts then bursts out laughing with Dani giggling.

"Oh shut it superman!!"I yell sticking my tongue out. Yeah very mature. Note the scarcasm. Ashton stopped laughing then started running at me like prey. I run around to studio for my life I'm in it now. So to back track you're probably wondering what's the big deal? Why is he chasing you? Well last year he stayed over with Dani and he walked around my room in superman boxers. I wasn't complaining he had a nice 8 pack so I decided to take a pic of him in his superman boxers with a superman pose and post it on Facebook. It was hilarious. Much more of hilarious to me than to him and I started calling him superman. Every time I called him superman he would torture me. FYI I am very ticklish. Back to the story all I know is that my feet are in the air and he puts me on my back crawls over top if me. NOT LIKE THAT!! YOU DIRTY BABOONS!! And he starts tickling me. While he's tickling me Tyler yells,
" Get off our sister!!" I am very confused they never cared when we played like this before. Then I start getting angry whenever I'm happy they just have to make it a bad thing.

I yell, "What's y'all problem? We were just having fun!!" I put my hand on my hip.

Jace yells back, "We need to keep you away from him!!"

I look at him like he's dumb me and Ash have been friends since we were 5 years old.

"From who exactly?!?! Ashton?!" They look at me like its the most obvious thing in the world. I look at him and he looks at me. We both burst out laughing.

Hunter asks curiously," What's funny me? I would gladly like to know?" After us laughing for 5 mins we finally sober up.

I question trying not die in laughter again,"Are you crazy we never liked eachother. Did y'all forget he's been my best friend for 11 years. We never liked each other, maybe later on in life we will, but we aren't interested now. "
At the end we burst out laughing we couldn't hold it in any longer. They all had the same dead serious look on there faces. Feeling the tension in the air I tell the family,

"Well back to serious mode you guys go get changed and you guys are welcomed to say, but NO TALKING !! We are preparing for a big competition so I need y'all quite."
Mom, Dad, Kyler, Tyler and Brandon were the only ones who left. I rubbed my hands together and thought to myself,

"Let's get this done!!"
