Kitty :)Marks p.o.v
Its been a few hours since Sal had her breakdown. I remeber the look on her face when I called her Angel, she looked like she'd seen a ghost. I had, and still don't have any idea what to do.
"Mum?"
"Yes dear", My mum replied, momenteraly glancing up from the food she was preparing for the wedding. I'd do anything for my mum, she's my rock and has never let me down. She's my world."Somethings wrong with Sally" I mumbled, looking down in shame. We had only know each other for a few hours and we were already having problems, I'm no master when it comes to marriage but even I know that this isnt a good thing.
"And?" She urged on, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"I haven't spoke to her and I have no idea what's wrong" I said in a 'duh' tone.
Sighing, mum let out a small laugh before meeting my stare.
"Well what are you doing standing here?" She asked incerdiously "go talk to her!"
With a final glance I sprang from my chair and half ran, half walked my way upstairs, towards our room. I thought you were supposed to let girls cool off, have some time to themselves when something like this happens, but no, apparently not. I took a deep breath before lightly tapping my knuckles on Sallys wooden, bedroom door. Silence. Frowning I turned the cold handle and made my way into her room. Empty. Not a thing was out of place and my Fiancé was nowhere to be seen.
"Sal!" I shouted, stepping further into the room " please can we just talk about this? I'm sorry for what ever I did wrong, okay? Sally! This isn't funny!". Taking a final glance around the room, I then proceeded to check in the bathroom but much to my dismay, finding it just as empty as her bedroom. Panic began to rise in my chest making it harder to focus on the situation at hand. Where was she? Was she okay?
"Sally, babe please! W-where are you!" I shouted, my voice quivering.
I could hear faint footsteps coming up the stairs but I didn't move, i couldn't, it was as if my whole body was frozen in place as fear took over my body. The footsteps stopped just outside the bedroom door and I watched as the door handle shook and my Mum's concerned face apeared infront of me. After taking a quick glance around the bright, tidy room her eyes finally settled on
"Mark, honey, is everything okay? I could hear you shouting from down stairs"Mum questioned, her concerned face still present.
Taking another small step into the room Mum shut the door behind her before cautiously making her way towards me, laying a hand on my arm she turned my body towards her so I was fully facing her. Taking in my wide eyes and sweaty forehead she immediately tensed, knowing I did this when I was panicking.
"Shes gone" I finally chocked out, after minutes of painful silence. My Mum's face immediately paled but I didn't give her time to respond,"I can't find her mum, I came up here to talk to her, find out if she's okay and she's completely disappeared" I wimpered. I finally took another glance around the room and I spotted a small, square peice of paper on the bedside table. Following my stare my mum soon after spotted the note and recognision settled on her face. Ignoring my Mum I shakily made my way towards the small peice of paper, going as fast as I could with my wobbly legs. Perching myself on the edge of bed, I picked up note and sure enough my name was scribbled on the front. Taking a few shaky breaths, I procceded to open the note and read it, praying that it would lead me to my beautiful wife-to-be. But boy was I wrong.
