Best friend

We were best friends and nothing never came between us. We would laugh for hours about nothing. I was younger and i didn't really understand why a boy and girl couldn't be best friends. People at school use to make fun of me because he was my best friend. I mean I didn't know why everyone was cool with Dontay I guess they were jealous or whatever. Growing up he wouldn't come around as much as before, I thought it was my fault I thought I did something wrong at this point I was about 7 and he was 9 going on 10. One day he came over and we were talking and outside, Dontay had told me that he couldn't be friends with a Girl .At my age it was very hard to understand and I didn't comprehend why he was saying that. He told me "I can't be your best friend anymore.I can't be a girl's friend.I don't have time for you." I was hurt I mean I was a little girl but it was something more then that i liked him and he was my best friend. He left me because he gotta into the Gang life like with the Kings. You see here in little Village we have A gang called the Latin Kings and he hung with the wrong people who got him into that. I lost my best friend to some stupid.OMG IM CRYING 😫😂 I missed him alot but then I told everyone it didn't hurt my feelings or anything but deep down I was hurting like hell. I missed my best friend he was there since my first hour on this earth he grew to be apart of my life and he left....Half of me left that day...and my heart broke in 2
