Chapter 3: Day one

Rainbow's pov

Today is the all school fun day. It's also the most popular time of year to tell your crush you like them. I was deep in thought trying to decide if this was the time to tell Twi or not when Aj snapped me out of it, "You okay sugar cube?"
"Yeah."

"Good cause I just want to tell you now today is your chance," she said with a wink.

"You really think so?"

"Definitely."

I smiled "Alright! I'm gonna do it!"

"Go get 'er tiger!"

I said while walking away eyes still on Aj I ran into someone. We both fell I looked up to see it was Twi. She was on top of me. Both of our eyes widened as both of our faces went tomato red. All of a sudden we heard a bunch of people go "Awwwww!" We looked to see all of our friends watching. We looked at each other our faces less than an inch apart. Here goes nothing... I thought as I closed the gap between us. Our lips locked. I could tell Twi was shocked at first but then I felt her melt into the kiss. All of our friends cheered us on. It was perfect; I wanted it to last forever. We finally pulled apart our lips and looked at each other I smirked and asked a simple question.

"Twilight, will you be my girlfriend?"

A huge grin spread across her face and as she went in for another kiss she said one simple word that made my heart flutter

"Yes." We kissed again more passionately than last time. When we broke apart we both got up and hugged each other. Our friends once again cheered for us. We turned to them holding hands. It was official. Twi was mine and I was hers. It was as simple as that, and I loved it.
