Nicole P.O.V

It has been a month and I recoverd well daddy has been more protective over me but I don't mind but as for school everyone is bullying me mostly because of my tics but scene I'm the smallest kid in class everyone started calling me a Ticci Nikki and I hate it but if I tell daddy he probably won't let me do anything so I keep quiet but they have been bullying me so much I believe them and I think daddy is noticing

Toby P.O.V

I noticed Nicole hasn't been her bubbley self lately she is usually quiet maybe is it because I'm not giving her space

I was staring at her watching cartoons on the couch Clockwork was gone for the whole day. It was 1:34 and it was raining outside Ashlyn soon figured out I was staring at her

Nicole: " Daddy are you okay?"

Toby: " I'm fine Ashlyn Just bored"

Nicole: " I know right.. what can we do in a rainy day"

Toby: "I don't know"

I got up and sat next to Nicole

Nicole: " I know what we can do"

Toby: " What is it Tiny?"

She hopped of the couch and walked to the board games

Nicole: " If were board lets just play a Broad game"

I walked up to Nicole and looked at the games with her

Toby: " What should we play Tiny?"

Nicole: " Janga?"

Toby: " Sure" I said ruffling her hair

{1 hour time skip }

Ever scene we started playing Nicole has been winning all the games

Nicole: " I win" she said cheering

Toby: " Your cheating"

Nicole: " Nope okay next game"

She brought a puzzle

Toby: " A puzzle really?"

Nicole: " Yup"

Toby: " Okay fine"

{45 min time skip}

Me and Ashlyn have been playing fir rhe longest until we had finished

Toby: " Finally were done" i said with my hands in the air

Nicole: " yes finally know what"

I looked out the window and the rain had stopped

Toby: " Nicole you wanna play throw the knife and hatchet"

Nicole: " Yes"

Toby: " Okay go get ready"

She ran to her room and came back 5 min later wearing a grey hoodie a little  bigger than her and black legging and shoes

Toby: " Ready Tiny" I said twirling the hatchet in my hands

Nicole: "Yes daddy"

We walked out the door and into the forest it had that wet grass air smell we walked for a bit and found our spot that had targets around I took my hatchet and threw it straight in the middle of the target

Nicole: "cool"

Toby: " Your turn" I handed her a knife

She threw it and hit the tree instead of the target

Nicole: " Dang it"

Toby: " You'll get it right eventually. Don't worry tiny"

I grabbed the knife out the tree and handed it back to Nicole

Nicole: " Will I ever be as good as you and mommy daddy?"

Toby: " In time Ashlyn. Hey maybe you can be better"

{TIME SKIP}

we were back in the house after playing and practicing throwing it was now 8:45 Nicole was in her room being Nicole and I noticed that I should get her ready for bed I hopped of the couch and walked to her room

Toby: " Nicole time for bed"

Nicole: " Okay"

Toby: " Put on your P.J's and I'll be back with some warm milk okay"

Nicole: " Okay daddy"

She didn't look happy but I just continued walking to the kitchen

After I made the warm milk I walked to Ashlyns room and she was sitting in her blanket wearing her green Dinosaur onesie she was so cute she also had a book in her hands. I read the book and kissed her forhead and before I turned off the light

Nicole: " Daddy can I ask you something"

Toby: "yes"

Nicole: " Do you think I'm a- Never mind good night"

Toby: " Nicole what is it you know you can tell me"

Nicole: "It's nothing daddy good night"

Toby: " Nicole tell me"

Ashlyn: " Daddy do you think I'm a runt?"

Toby: " What N-no why would you think that?"

Nicole: " Because everyone calls me that" she said tears coming down her eye

Toby: " Who told you that?" I said hugging her

Nicole: " Everyone"

Toby: " Ashlyn you are not a runt your my daughter and--" she cut me off

Ashlyn: " but I was a mistake I was never meant to be born in the first place" she said crying harder and ticking

Toby: " But Ashlyn you were the second best thing that happend to me" I said wiping her tears away

Nicole: " What was your first best thing then?"

Toby: " Your mom because If I never met her I would never have my baby Nicole Ouellette Rodgers and your one of the most strongest people I have ever meant because when you were born the docter thought you weren't gonna make it but you did you even risked your life for other kids I could tell you a million reason why your not a runt if you want me to"

Nicole: " Thanks daddy"

I kissed her forehead

Toby: " Your welcome Tiny"

Nicole: " can you stay here until I sleep"

Toby: " Sure"

I stayed in her bed stroking her hair and she fell asleep on my arm and before I knew it I fell asleep too
