Lexi's P.O.V

'Alexis! Get down here quick!'

I groaned in frustration at my mum calling me downstairs, departing me from my Pretty Little Liars marathon. 'Coming!' I yelled back.

I trudged down the stairs into the kitchen where my mum was. I walked in to see her hovering over the sink to look out of the window. She turned and looked at me 'We have neighbours!' She screamed, bouncing up and down like a hyper puppy. 'Really?' I asked, walking towards the window to see if it was true. I saw a moving truck and 4 people standing outside of it. There was an older man lifting up boxes and bringing them inside. There was also a woman that looked so gorgeous and not a day over 20! She was holding a little girls hand and I swear, I have never seen a cuter child!

1 thing that caught my eye was a really hot guy taking boxes out of the moving van and handing them to his father I'm guessing. He seemed around my age and let me tell you, nobody in my school is that buff. Man was he hot. He wiped sweat off his forehead from the heavy lifting- I think I was drooling.

He looked around before locking eyes with me through the window. He smirked at me and sent a wink. I gasped and hid behind my mum. She laughed at my childishness before walking away leaving me bare with no protection from Mr hotty over there. I took a quick glance to see him continuing to help his dad with the boxes.

I breathed a sigh of relief before walking back up to my room. I sat down at my desk and hit play on Netflix. The theme song of PLL came on and I sang along 'Got a secret, can you keep it? Swear this one you'll save. Better lock it in your pock-' 'Nice voice you got there' I was interrupted by a heavenly voice. I turned around to see the God from earlier leaning over his windowsill which was cm- literally cm away from my window. 'Didn't your mum teach you it's rude to spy on people?' I asked getting up and walking towards the window. 'She did, I listened, but I don't follow rules' he said smirking at me. 'Oh really? So you're like one of those cliche bad boys I read about in books?' I asked leaning against the wall. 'I guess you could say that. Why, would you like me to? So you can fall in love with me and we live happily ever after?' He asked smirking. 'No, I will never fall in love with you' I lied, I think I'm already in love with him. 'We'll just have to see won't we? I've been told I have an irresistible charm' he smiled, moving back into his room and closing the window.

I walked back to my desk and continued the episode and tried not to sing next time.

'Alexis, get changed into something presentable! We're leaving soon!' My mum shouted up the stairs.

'Where are we going?'

'Next door for dinner'

I groaned and walked to my wardrobe. I picked out a floral crop top and black high waisted skinny jeans with my white vans.

I put on my clothes and did my makeup which consisted of light foundation, mascara, eyeliner and some light pink lipstick. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs.

'Ready?' Mum asked me. I nodded and we headed out the door to go for dinner.

We went to the front door of our new neighbours and knocked the door. We waited until a woman with black curled hair opened it. 'Hello- Beverly? is that you?' The woman asked. 'Carol? I didn't even recognise you earlier! You look great!' My mum laughed, hugging Carol.

'You too! And who is this beautiful young lady? Is this the Lexi you've gone spoke non stop about?' Carol asked admiring me. 'Yes it is. This is my beautiful daughter Lexi' said mum hugging my side.
