"Wait, what? Kaleidoscope Land?" The young man questioned the brown haired chick. Nicolla gazed up at him from his unusual reaction and reviewed it. 'Why did he ask about it? Does he know my dimension? Is he... from my dimension too? Is he... the panda?!' Nicolla overthought, trying not to change the look on her face to be less suspicious. A little hesitant to answer the guy, she stuttered, "Y-Yeah, why?" The not-yet-specified guy seemed to rapidly became a bit brightened from what he heard. Seems like he really do know about that dimension. He broadly smiled at her and starts explaining, "I know that place! Actually, I have a big ass book about it. It's kind of like the rules and regulations and history about unicorns, rainbows, panda, and stuffs." Suddenly, an almost-forgotten knowledge just penetrated inside Nicolla's mind. "The missing book that the lost goddess always hold. No wonder it was on this squirrel's hands..." Nicolla said in a slightly muted way while rubbing her chin, expressing that she's thinking deeply. The guy leaned over to her for he barely heard her words. "What? Miss, I can't hear you." He asked then the ebullience of Nicolla appeared again. "THE BOOK, SHAWN! I NEED THAT BOOK! IT WILL HELP ME SEEK PANDA!" She shouted directly at his face, shaking both of his shoulders violently. "Sorry, what? I have a cooler name than Shawn, you know. And no, I can't just give you that book. You have to pay for it. My precious friend gave that to me." He said, removing Nicolla's hands from his shoulders in view of the fact that he doesn't want to be shaken like that again. Nicolla groaned and responded, "Doughnuts! Wait, from a friend? Who?" Nicolla doesn't remember a human originally holding the enormous yet colorful book from Kaleidoscope Land so she looked at him quizzically. The boy replied in an instant, "Ferllo." How can the goddess of Unicorns permit a human being to obtain their sacred book? Nicolla, who's perplexed and excited at the same time from seeing that the stranger believes in the existence of Kaleidoscope Land, shook his shoulders another time, causing him to get a bit dizzy and asked him. "You know Ferllo?!" He threw her hands off of his shoulders again and blinked a few times from the sudden dizziness. "Yeah," He nodded. "She was actually... almost... supposed-to-be my gurlfrruund..." He continued with his lips barely open, probably because he was a bit shy to speak about it. Nicolla smirked at the blushing guy and patted him on his shoulder, "Do you have a name, squirrel?" With a moue of disappointment shown on the local boy's face, he then grumbled, "Daniel." Nicolla beamed at him and Daniel dodged the approaching hands of Nicolla that was nearly going to grip his shoulders again. "Tch." A moue shown on Nicolla's face as she rested both of her hands on either side of her waist instead. Smiling again, Nicolla exhaled and began talking, "Okay, Daniel. Um... I'm a unicorn, alright? Well, internally, I guess. The present queen of the Unicorns shifted my body into a human form and dropped me here on Earth--" Daniel blurted out something, stopping Nicolla's explanation. "Like what happened to Ferllo?!" Annoyed that the guy ceased her from talking, she was also alerted when she heard that information about Ferllo. "So she was nullified too, huh?... Anyway, I was talking! Set your comments aside for now!" She cleared her throat. "To go back to the Kaleidoscope Land and my unicorn body, I urgently need to scan that book so I can acquire knowledge to sense the particular panda that I was ordered to find. So please! HAND ME THE BOOK!" Nicolla cried peremptorily, attempting to shake Daniel's shoulders again just to convince him. Daniel stepped his right foot behind and gave an unsatisfied look. "No way... unless you're going to pay for it." Sales talk, of course. All that Daniel ever wanted was money and money. Nothing more, nothing less. "Really?" Nicolla grumbled, thinking of another solution to apply on the guy -- if it's violence or grant his wish instead. She pictured in her mind of the approximate money that she have in her wallet and then shook her head. She doesn't even have a job yet to pay the gold-digger in front of her. What more, right? But she has no other choice. Reluctance is taking over her mind again. "Fine. Money is all you wished for then FINE!" She crossed her arms and pressed it against her chest with a pout. Thrilled by hearing the word "money" and eyes flickering with satisfaction, the guy beamed and asked, "Really? I mean, really? Okay!" Nicolla had to make sure that her expense is on the level where in she could definitely deal with so she questioned, "How much do you want anyway, squirrel?" Daniel's face winced, remembering that he has introduced himself just a few moments ago. "Um... it's Daniel?!" "It rhymes anyway! Now just tell me how much. Make sure it's low price." Nicolla protested right away. "Depends, girl." Daniel smirked but in his mind he's actually aiming for a high cost. A little sadistic about money, isn't it? "Hmp," Nicolla extended her right arm towards Daniel and spoke softly but with a grimaced look on her face. "Nicolla." She intended to shake hands and Daniel did. "Oh, so this means deal too, right?" Nicolla yanked her hand away and gave Daniel an isn't-it-obvious expression. She turned her back around and beckoned him, "Now where's your house?" Daniel whickered, looking at her silliness and patted her, "It's this way, boss-wanna-be." Nicolla clicked her tongue and reluctantly followed him with a surreptitious remorseful look. Little did they both know is that the other people who are crossing the same street have their eyes darted on them 'cause they thought they were doing some sort of reinactment; talking about unicorns and shit. But oh well. It's good that didn't know it instead.
Daniel's house wasn't too far to walk so thank fucking goodness. As they arrived at the front door, they took a left and walked pass through a cranny path between Daniel's house and his neighbor to go to the back door instead for no solid reason. They entered the house but not as quietly as ever because Nicolla began gambolling towards random furnitures and appliances, looking at it straightly. Daniel didn't gave a fuck about her anyhow. Maybe later but who knows. His rustic kitchen and dining area is just a few feet away to his living room, with no wall separating it. A doorway beside his kitchen is probably his bedroom and a door beside his living room is none other than his bathroom. It's just a simple single home for a single man. Aw. Nicolla leaped on Daniel's white couch and beamed like a child. "I may not help you if you're feeling like you wanna urinate." Daniel spat out as he opened his metallic refrigerator and checked if there's anything edible. "What do you mean?" Nicolla asked, looking at the coffee table in front of her. "I have no bathroom." Nicolla almost jumped off. From what she approximately know is that the door next to the living room is possibly the bathroom but what kind of shit is Daniel talking right now? "Th-Then, what about that door?" Her right arm outstretched and her index finger pointed on the plain white door, looking at Daniel quizzically. Daniel chortled with a pizza box on his hands. "That's where my computer set is." Still can't comprehend on what he just said though Nicolla tried to ask once more. I mean, who wouldn't be surprised as fuck, knowing that a guy living alone is lacking the most imperative place where humans shit and pee and take a shower. "Where's your bathroom?!" Nicolla showed an overwhelming look in her eyes as Daniel walked closer to the door in which Nicolla is pointing at and opened a wooden box filled with colored bottles and jars. He picked up a blue translucent jar and showed it to Nicolla, lightly shaking it. "Jars and bottles~!" He smirked as if he was even proud of it. "Oh, wow." Was Nicolla's reply with such a calm face and a small smile revealing which Daniel found it unusual. "Wow? Shouldn't you say ew? I mean, that's what most girls' impressions are." Daniel then puts back the jar and closed the box tightly. "Well, it's kind of a hard thing to shoot your urine on it so yeah." Nicolla smiled but a laugh was returned from Daniel, rubbing his nape. "Don't know if I should take that as a compliment but here's a pizza as my thank you." He places the pizza box on the coffee table and began rummaging on his bookshelf to get the book that they dealt about. Nicolla opened the pizza box and grabbed one slice and began to ask out of nowhere. "Where do you take a shower anyway?" She took a large bite on the pizza. "My friend's. Which is four blocks away." He answered. Nicolla nodded lightly to his response as she watched him. "You have a good friend then." Daniel finally found the book of Kaleidoscope Land so he turned around to Nicolla with one eyebrow arched. "Good friend, you say?" He dropped the enormous book centrally on the coffee table and walked through his kitchen to grab some soda. Nicolla finished off her first slice but of course it isn't enough. She doesn't just simply eat once, but twice. "Well, you know. Lending a shower everyday is really kind." Nicolla chewed up the innocent pizza slice. Daniel walked back to the lounge and preferred to sit on the floor. He opened his soda can and began quaffing some amount. "Well," Nicolla flipped the leather cover of the intergalactic book. "...This is it."
