Chapter 2 ~The New Guy

I had finally gotten to the offices. Adam told me that I could work there if I wanted to so I accepted the offer. I was shy around new people so I was nervous...Now or never Red
I knock on the door hearing faint voices in the background.
"Red!"
"Hi Adam"

As he pulled me into a hug a tall man, but shorter than me comes out. He has barley any hair on his head but lots of arm and chest hair. He was wearing a purple shirt and jeans. I couldn't help my face heating up.

I see Adam smirking at me. I mouth "shut up" to him.
"Hi I'm John but you can call me Barney."
Mhm John I like that name.
"H-hi I'm Michael but you can call me red..."
Ugh I hate being shy
"I can give you a tour of the offices if you want"
Red what the hell do you say now
"I-I'd like that..."
Okay at least you answered him

                                 ~Time skip to after the tour because I'm lazy~

"Um Adam..."
"Yeah red what do you need?"
"Um I was wondering where I'm going to stay because I don't have an apartment.."
"Um I think you're staying with Barney"
I feel my heart beating faster
"Yeah-yeah okay thanks Adam"
"No problem"

Great staying with my crush...I wonder how this is going to turn out Red how do you already have a crush it's your first day Great I'm talking to myself again  Ughh. At least nobody here knows I'm gay. What are my chances of him liking me and being gay. Like 0-1

I was interrupted by my thoughts by slamming my head into a door. This is just what I need... I look at the door and of course it says "Barney's office" Luckily he wasn't in his office at that time. But of course when I'm about to leave he comes and says
"Um red what are you doing at my office door?"
"Um...I kinda ran into it." I feel my face flush at embarrassment
He giggles "be more careful ya doof"
