I'm sadly not giving you the first chapter yet! I am so so so unbelievably sorry about that. I just need to finish the fillers so that you can grasp what the first chapter is. Got it? Anyhow, I thought that y'all might like to have the complete synopsis which I had to cut down for Wattpad. This was actually SUPPOSED to be Chapter One. But I assumed that everyone read the synopsis anyway and that writing the same part over again as a chapter would be annoying-ish. But I think that this side of the story is far better than what I had to shorten it to. I love you all so so much! Thank you so so so much for the recommendations and the readers! So...a new goal! Can we get this unfinished book to 200 reads? Without even a first chapter? That would be fantastic! I am going to be posting updates about when the second book will be ready for release, and I frantically wait along with you! Love you so much!

CHAPTER 1
HE'S GONE
SARADA UCHIHA
How could this happen? I'm collapsed on the floor in the middle of the living room, his jacket crinkled in my arms. It faintly feels warm with his ghost. He was just here. In the shock tears fall from my eyes, and cloud my glasses. I rip them off and throw them across the room. Idiot. Idiot. Idiot. How could this happen?!
"Mama..." I hear a whisper. I turn sharply and my eyes widen to see Sasuto standing in the doorway.
"Sasuto..." I murmur the name stumbling from my mouth.
"You're not supposed to be home this early." He says softly. I turn away from him holding the jacket to my chest. "What's wrong mama?"
"Sweetie..." I mumble, gathering up my cloak. "Your papa..."
"He's not on another mission is he? He said he would say bye to me the next time."
"Sweetie-"
"He's such a liar. He said he would!"
"Sasuto!" I grabbed his hand.
"Mama...?" He says softly his eyes turning wide seeing my tears. He's silent. "What...happened to papa?"
Tears stream down my face and I'm unable to control them. Even in front of my own son, a space ripping in my chest. The place where my heart used to be.
"You'll be home for dinner, right?"
"Yeah, of course. As long as you're cooking tonight."
"It's my turn, isn't it?" I laughed.
"I dunno, last time you bailed on me. Sasuto did not appreciate it." Boruto smirked. "I can even overcook ramen, just watch."
"You know I would every night I just can't sometimes. But I'll be home early today. I promise."
"Oh...uh...really?" Something dark creeped into his eyes.
"Yeah." I said examining him closer concern starting to creep up on me. "Is that a problem?"
"No, of course not. Sasuto will be happy that you're home early. I think he's got his shuriken test today..."
"He does." I smiled. Even though I'm not home often I watch over him all the time. He's very much like his father when it comes to being social. Always loud and making a fool of himself. And even though it goes against my nature I smile everytime. "I'll make sure to congratulate him."
"Good. I've uh...gotta go now."
"What for? You don't have-"
"I've got a meeting with your dad actually," Boruto said smiling lop-sided, scratching the back of his head. "Not really sure what it's about. But I should be home before you get there."
"Okay." I smiled turning away from him.
"Oh yeah, and Sarada?"
"Yeah?" I said turning.
"I love you. You know that?"
"Of course."
"Alright." He said blushing red. "Just double checking."
"Sasuto..." I cried into the jacket. "Your papa...he's..."
"Mama?"
I force myself to meet his eyes, the pain shaking me from my core. "Your papa is gone."
