"little one are you done, we've gotta go !!" the tall brunette calls out for his little sister.
his loud voice echoes through from the rail of stairs as she rolls her eyes in annoyance, the thick feeling of panic and anxiety was slowing taunting her, though calum would never leave her to walk to school on purpose, he'll find anyway way to tease her, in spite of his playful demeanour.
meanwhile, she hurriedly cuffed up the sleeves of her white collared button up, just messily above her elbows, then neatly tucking the thin material into the forest green and navy blue plaid skirt, that just went above her mid thigh. It was a tad short to say the least, but when the school sent it in, she wasn't much aware and when she asked for a much longer one, her parents never had the time to snatch one as they promised before the day came by.
she wasn't much bothered by the uniform, as to already being used to the uniforms she was forced to wear at the previous all girls catholic school she attended, but the skirt surely made her feel somewhat exposed. she also knew sister katherine, a nun who was dearly close with her wouldn't be too fond with it either.
"cal wait, I'm coming !" she shouted back, quickly grabbing her things, which didn't insist of much, due to it only being her first day in a public high school, she didn't know what to expect from having no experience in the new environment.
as the young girl inhaled a ragged breath of air, her warm finger tips reached up straightening the black school tie wrapped around her small neck then made her way down the rail of stairs.
her rich brown eyes met with a pair awfully identical to her own, there stood her brother waiting impatiently at the bottom of the wooden staircase.
she took notice of him cuffing the arms of his collared button-down, the cotton material crinkles, overlapping with each fold, to the point where it was able to show off his arm tattoos and growing biceps.
this also invoked the sudden interest in the undone buttons you'll find in his shirt, flaunting the permanent art - displaying his little sisters birth date in roman numerals transversely inked across the skin under his left collar bone.
his love for the girl was more than words could explain it self, calum found himself always looking out for her and making sure that she was never down, upset or bored or lonely or even deeply annoyed with him. If she was any of those things, he felt like as if he had to act fast but fortunately he always did.
