Missy was getting her soccer jersey on, she was number sixteen, her lucky number. She knew that Kelsey was up to no good. How did she know? Well, just by the way she was acting. Missy didn't care. Obviously. So that's why she didn't show up to the practice. She didn't care. Kelsey is just trying to make her life miserable. Missy had lost her dad about a month before so this game meant so much to her. Her dad was her coach from the first day she started playing. She wanted to win. But with Kelsey, she didn't know if that was possible. Just the thought had made her tear up. As she arrived to the soccer field she already saw Kelsey with Anthony and she knew that he was really wanting Missy there and not Kelsey. He was so happy to see Missy. "Missy!!" He said with excitement. He pulled her aside to tell her something. " What, what is it? What's wrong?" Missy was very happy but in a instance she was nervous. "Kelsey... she has a plan to trip you during the game! Should we tell coach?" Asked Anthony. " No, we shouldn't because if we don't she will get in trouble for it and I don't care if she does. She doesn't deserve a spot on this team." She told him. "Okay, we will just see what this game brings us." Anthony felt so bad because he had just lied to Missy. He already told the coach! Missy started off as a sub, which was good for her. She kept telling herself that Kelsey is just a big baby and doesn't know how to deal with problems so she just hurts people. Anthony was playing offense, so was Kelsey, but Missy had gone in for a teammate. So the three of them were all on offense. "Great." Missy said under her breath. "Five minutes till half time. We got this." Anthony tried so hard not to let Kelsey trip Missy but the last minute of the first half Missy was going through the field and going to shoot, but Kelsey tripped her. She fell right on her left knee. And she couldn't get up. Tears rolled down her face. Everything was black. She couldn't feel her whole left leg. Everyone took a knee and Anthony was there right beside her. Telling her that everything will be okay. He felt the need to hug her, but she was in too much pain that he didn't want to make the matters even worse then they already were. There was all of the parents and coaches surrounding her. She didn't know what was happening. The next thing she knows is that she is in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. The words were stuck in her mind. "Everything will be okay." Well, everything was okay until she realized that Anthony was no longer by her side. She needed him more than her own mom. She was scared without him. But she knew that they will be back together soon.
