As soon as she arrived at the hospital, she knew that this was a serious injury. She was scared that she might not ever be able to play soccer again. Missy had this guilt with her that she let everyone down. Yet she isn't the one who did this to herself. Kelsey did. She is going to have to pay for what she did to me. Shortly then her mom arrived. "Honey, you're okay. Coach is going to come and stop by after the game." Her mom tried everything to comfort her. But there was a secret that her mom didn't even know about. The one person that she needed most. Anthony. Her teammate. "Mom, can I have some time alone to think please?" Missy calmly asked her mother. "Yes of course. You can have all the time you need to think about this situation." Her mom walked out of the room, and shut the door, and Missy cried. She cried out all the pain, the guilt, and the regret for everything. She had no reason to feel like it was her fault, but she did anyway. She thought about the possibility of surgery. Her fear. But she just needed time to think alone. In a quiet room with nobody in it. She had the best ten minutes of her life to be alone. The coach came in. Missy knew that she needed to tell coach. She didn't care if Kelsey would get kicked off of the team, she didn't care about what circumstances were ahead of her, she just wanted to expose Kelsey for what she did. "Hey coach, thanks for coming but I want to tell you exactly what happened and why I fell." Missy tried her best not to cry. "Sure thing. What happened?" Asked the coach. "Well, the new girl Kelsey, wanted to get me off of the team, I have no idea why, but she did, and she wanted to trip me. She is the reason why I am here. She did this. All because she is on my team." I had explained every detail to the coach and he understood. He was very considerate of me. "Well, your teammate Anthony told me because I know he wanted to protect you. But I will take care of this. Get better soon." He stepped outside of the room and he went on his phone. I could tell he was probably going to call Kelsey's mother. I was happy. My mom and the doctor said that everything was fine and that I was going to be back on the fields in no time. The coach came in and said that he took care of everything. My day has been made for two reasons. One, my knee was fine it was just so painful. And two, Kelsey might have been kicked off the team! I was happy. And if that was a possibility, I would have the best season of my life. My mom came and said to me, "It's time to go home, and I have your favorite dinner waiting for you!" I was happy for that, but that happiness came to confusion when I looked at my phone to see that I had two texts from a number I did not know. And it was the same area code as mine, but I had no clue who it was. I didn't answer the text until I gotten home.
