The Thermal Virgo

Swish! Went the metal doors opening infront of me. Before I entered the battle room, there's always a camera that lets me see the stadium and who the blader is.

There was a Bey in the stadium. A green Bey, with a poison fusion wheel. Reiji! He's here, he's back, he's...! With some other girl!

"Daddy!" He quickly came running in, and held me close, like how he always does and has been doing for the past eighteen years. "Yes. What is it, princess?" He asked letting me go. I didn't say anything, I just pointed at Reiji and that girl! He didn't say a thing! Not one thing! All he did was motion Reiji out, leaving me to converse with the girl.

"Who are you?" I asked, demanding. "My name is Utsukushī. Utsukushī Shōjo. Who are you?" She asked. I was in a state of shock, "How does that thing not know who I am?" I thought, with my eyes at large. "I am Kuari Hakate, daughter of Doji Hakate, heir to the Dark Nebula fortune, and the boy that just left,my boyfriend." I told her, motioning her to come to my side. She did as told and dropped her Beyblade in my hands while on both knees. "A Thermal Virgo. Battle me, now!" I comanded. "Yes, Ms. Hakate."

Our Bey’s where in our launchers, ready to be shot. Daddy and Reiji were sitting at the bottom of the stadium, front row. Before we launched, the other bladers came, them being Ryutaro, Tobio, and the twins, Dan and Reiki. Then, after they sat, we counted down, “Three,” I said, “Two,” she said, “One, Let it rip!” We said in sync.

Our Beyblade’s hit the stadium in a maximum of three seconds, “Go, Virgo!” Utsukushī yelled.

“What a dumb move!” Yelled Dan, eyes gleaming at my Willow. “Yeah, Kuari never battles like that, you should know!” Said Reiki.

“Willow, center stage! Let everyone see you!” I told my oh so lovely Bey. “Yeah, like that’ll work. Virgo, mind shot!” She said. Her attack was then put into action. Bullets of energy where shot from Virgo. Shot, after shot, after shot, she missed with everyone.

But, not because of her aim, oh no, it was because of Willow’s eternal-sharp performance tip. The more she shot, the stronger Willow gets. You see, Willow consumes the energy around her, like a spider going to cocoon its prey; Willow will keep that energy and bounce it back, like Lighting L-Drago.

Virgo kept circling around the stadium, thinking what to do next. Willow hit her with a series of attacks. My final hit was the one that needed to make a stand. “Willow, web her!”

“No, Virgo! Grr, Special Move, Virgo Head Wave!” She yelled. “Oh, like that’ll make a difference. Now Willow, Special Move, Willow Wed Strike!” With that done, Virgo was sent flying before she could even finish her move.

“Another win, as always.” I said with Willow still spinning. But, Virgo was able to catch herself, sadly.

“No! No one stays in the stadium! No one!”

“Looks like your special move isn’t so special after all.” She said with her hands on her waist. “Oh, yeah! Than try this! Willow, Ultra Dark Special Move, Willow Venom Bite Sting!” I commanded in anger.

She flew out of the stadium, Virgo, my Willow was victorious, and she always will be.

She was on her knees, Utsukushī, in tears! Normally, when I win, the losers just face their defeat and keep going.

“Princess, that was amazing!” Said Daddy, lifting me from my torso. “I was on the edge of my seat, man Kuari, you sure know how to battle.” Said Dan, eyes still gleaming. “Thanks, but it wasn’t that hard, it was just medium.” I said.

I wonder why Utsukushī was crying after she lost, is it because she thought she would win, or did she need to win?
