“Please don’t catch me, please don’t catch me.” I thought tiptoeing in Daddy’s office. “Come on, where is it? There you are!” I whispered, holding Utsukushī’s file.
“Find what you looking for?” Said Daddy behind me, quickly snatching the file. “I just wanted to know who she was and why she was with Reiji.” I told him leaning on his chair. “To tell you the truth, princess, even I don’t know who she is or why she was with Reiji.” He said studying the file carefully. “Now, be a dear and let Daddy be, I need to work.” He said kissing my hand. “Sure, whatever you say, Daddy.” I told him kissing his cheek goodbye.
“Hey, Kuari, wanna watch Dan and me battle Ryutaro?” Reiki asked holding his Evil Gemios tight in his palm. “Sure, besides I’ve got nothing better else to do.” I answered, shrugging. “Cool, come on.” Said Dan taking my hand.
The battle was like any other battle, Dan and Reiki would argue on what attack they would use, giving Ryutaro an advantage, making him the victor.
“Madame, your father wants to speak with you.” Said Merci in his annoying French accent. “I can’t believe I’m saying this but, I hope I’m in trouble.” I said getting of my seat. “That’s a first.” I heard Reiki say.
I softly knocked on Daddy’s office door. He heard the quiet knock and opened the door, embracing me. “What’d I miss?” I asked partly suffocating. “Ok, Daddy, I love you, but can you let me go, please?” I asked inhaling deep breathes after he let me go. “So, what happened that made you half kill me?” I asked half serious-half joked. “Utsukushī is Dr. Ziggurat’s daughter.” He said watching the sunset, arm over my shoulders. “You seem calm for a guy who just found out that your daughter’s boyfriend is friends with an enemy.” I told him rubbing his hand on my face. “Is that a bad thing?” He asks. “No, just weird.” I said putting both his arms around me.
“The world can surprise us in many ways.” Came Reiji’s voice from behind us. He was leaning on the door side, trying to look calm and cool. He got my vote, that’s for sure.
Within the moment he came, took me by the waist, and kissed me. No surprise there, not one so ever. He always wants to make a scene when we kiss, I let him. I like giving girls envy; it’s just something about me that I just love. Reiji still had me, this is normal, but it may die out in 3, 2, 1…done.
