Jack finished buttoning up his dark blue uniform and stood in front of the m. He couldn't explain it but there was some kind of pride Jack felt when he put on his uniform.
Jack heard a knock at his door, he grabbed his cap on the bed and made his way to the front door.
"Who is it?"
"It Will."
Jack opened the door and was meet with Will's face.
"Hey Jack-a-boy, ready to go?"
"Yeah, and don't ever call me that." Jack said. Jack closed his apartment door and locked it. Both the men left the building to go to work.

Will parked his car in the parking lot of the police station and got out the car with Jack behind him. Jack followed Will into the building and couldn't believe how big the place was. Both men walked up to the front desk, there was someone up front but they were bend over.
"Good morning, Barnes." Will greeted.
"Good Morning." The person then stood up and Jack could see his face.
"Hey, this is Jack." Will introduced, Jack give him a smile.
"Hey, I'm Wade Barnes." Wade held out his for Jack to shake.
"Jack Mclouglin." Jack said and shook Wade's hands.
"Anyway do you know if the chief is here?" Will asked.
"Yeah he just came in."
"Great, come on Jack." Will started to walk away and Jack followed.
"Your going to love Chief Helmont, he pretty strict but also one of the chilliest people." Will said and continued to talk but Jack wasn't listening he was to busy looking around, it seemed like nobody stopped moving around.
"And here is his office." Will said.
"What?" Jack said he wasn't paying attention, Will knocked on the door.
"Come in." Said a voice, Will opened the door and both men walked in.
"Good morning Chief Helmont, we have a new officer." Will spoke.
"Yes, Good morning to you too." Chief Helmont responded, he then looked at Jack. "This is the newbie?" He said it in a way that made Jack feel small.
"Yep." Will said popping the p.
Helmont looked at Jack up and down. "OK, Wood please leave the room and wait while I talk to the newbie."
Will nodes and leaves the room. "Good luck Jack your going to need it." He whispered to Jack.
"Leave Wood!" Helmont commended and Will left the room.
Chief Helmont sat down in his seat behind the desk and look up at Jack. "Come on sit down I won't bite." He said and pointed to one of the seats in front of his desk. Jack took a deep breath and walked to one of the two chairs, at this point Jack felt like his stomach was doing back flips.
