Andrew left Kai to sleep and exited the room in a slow and smooth motion. As he wandered trough the center of the nice home, he noticed that there was a light on above the glass top stove. The light above the stove stayed on all evening and night because Sophia has a fear of being alone in the dark. He walked over towards the sink and rinsed off his glass from earlier this morning. He opened the fridge and placed a wedge or two of an orange contained in a large tupperware container in his nice blue glass. He then stepped towards the cabinet to the left of the fridge below the counter and fetched a small close to 16 ounce bottle of vodka. Andrew filled the glass close to an inch away from the brim. He turned around and grabbed a tall bottle of lemon juice from the fridge and poured much much more than the recommended amount. Once he was done pouring his rare alcoholic drink he put everything back in its designated area and glanced up because he saw a small square of light shining through the glass wall behind Sophia's chair.

He wondered what she was thinking because she normally doesn't take pictures at night. He opened the glass sliding door to the right of the hallway entrance and stepped onto the Balcony over looking the curvy pool. He took a sip from his dark blue glass and observed the small rectangular screen. there was a dim light on the left of the screen. She had left the lens cap on. As he walked closer he could smell a sweet smell of strawberry wine. He closed in on the smell and the smell went from something sweet to something that odd savagery would have caused. She giggled and smiled once she saw Andrew's welcoming face, she immediately grabbed his cup and took small sips as Andrew gazed curiously upon her beauty. The looks weren't focused, as usual. Yet she did seem to gaze on a small amount of things showing a natural beauty. Andrew hasn't shaved in a day or two, so he had the makings of a five o'clock shadow.

He could never get past the photographers thoughts. She was constantly thinking but never about the current topic, or present time. Her elegant mind was always elsewhere. "Do you want to go to the beach?" she spoke, in a light whisper. "Why would we go to the beach it is like midnight." "I like the stars, we can just sit and talk and gaze upon the sky." She seemed anxious. Andrew knew she was drunk, but it was more than that. Much more. "Why are you drunk, babe?" "Shut up." she said in a very quick and almost snappy bark. "I'm in love with someone i can't have" she whined. "Me too hun, you cute though." Andrew said this in a deep whisper as he wrapped his arm around her. "Im driving to the beach wether you come or not." she said sticking out her bottom lip. "Fine, I'll go." He said through a light giggle. Andrew walked through the glass door and chugged his drink and sat his cup in the sink. Andrew walked to the bedroom to check on a peacefully asleep Kai, wrapped in the earlier spoken of cloth. He collected a light jacket, his keys, wallet, a towel, and slipped into some gym shorts, then left.

He pulled his dark green Jeep Wrangler into the third parking space from the right, closer to the bathrooms. he opened the door behind his and grabbed his things placing them in a medium sized tote bag. Sophia, she struggled. She drank because she was more than problematic. Andrew loves her though, and often thinks even her ugliest things are beautiful. She drank to numb the pain. Now, however, she was drunk. She whined for Andrew who was always there for her. So Andrew shut the back door and wandered to her side of the vehicle. She tried to jump out towards Andrew, but her seatbelt caught her with an aggressive, yet slow pull. "Sophia, you're a smart girl, you know how to operate this very simple machinery." He said in a hefty and sarcastic laugh. Seeing a grown woman try to literally jump out of a Jeep made him nearly hysterical. He unbuckled the tight belt and she stroked his cheek very compassionately. He then did the same and then leaned in for a slow and cozy kiss. "I love you." She whispered. He was surprised because those three words were all he wanted to hear, long ago, but now, it didn't effect him. "I wish you actually did." He said drawing back from Sophia whilst listening to her slow drawn out, almost sorrowful cry. Andrew and Kai had always been close but Andrew had always had this unspoken love for Sophia.

Andrew couldn't be with her, he didn't want to be with her. He wants to be in love. To merely have his dream, not to merely live his dream. It's always hard to look past hate. Andrew was good at looking past hate, because he had this extreme and fiery hatred for Sophia. However, love always trumps hate. They both fought, but even through it all, all of the fights, mean words and disgusting glares, the 'I love you's' were still exchanged. It's almost like a twenty year long marriage gone wrong, you can't just leave, but you can't just be on standby either. At this point they were dependent on each other, like in a marriage. They signed on houses and cars together, like in marriage. Andrew never actually owned anything, surprisingly, he let her pay all of the bills. Sophia payed the house bill and her car bill. She rarely allowed any help. Kai however, a majority of his bills were payed in part by Andrew. Andrew would always Co-sign for Sophia and Kai would always Co-sign for Andrew. It takes skill, love, dedication, and most importantly, loyalty.

After Andrew helped Sophia out of the jeep, he sat in the back, somehow, she managed to stumble all the way down the poorly constructed wooden walkway and pick a beautiful spot to lay out a blanket. When they went to the beach they would always light a fire. Despite the fire hazard Andrew kept a small crate, in the back of his jeep, full of old newspaper and receipts and things like that, acting as a paper themed trash can. He grabbed a large handful of these papers and shoved them angrily into his tote bag. There was a small string of old and dead trees, if Andrew remembers correctly they were vibrant and beautiful birch trees about five or ten years ago. He secured his vehicle and walked to the front walkway, sat his bag down and climbed up onto the railing. He jumped forward and latched onto the tree, something he was quite afraid of, with it being old and very dry. He reached up and punched the intersection of the thickest limb in sight and it crumbled to the ground, Something he aimed to do.

Sophia was beautiful in the moonlight shimmering off of the swaying ocean. He walked to join her and she slowly turned around and when he sat next to her he was greeted with a definite surprise. One of the most intimate encounters dealing with that of a kiss. They then laid back upon the dark sand and had wonderful, passionate sex. It wasn't love making, because the intimacy was lost after the kiss. Sadly, It was suspense, not intimacy. With her it was always suspense.
