" They do look quite cute together "

------------

Several days had passed by, making today Saturday.

I had sat at the side of Jakes hospital bed, in one of the most uncomfortable chairsknown, the entire time.

They had to keep Jake in because of how young he is, but he is being released today which is all good.

Kim said she would stay with me the entire time but I forced her to go to school, it would be unfair to keep her from her education for two whole days. That would be just evil.

Justin also said he would stay with me but again I said the same thing to him as I did to Kim. However, both Justin and Kim came to the hospital the seconds they finished school on the Thursday and the Friday.

“You just have to sign a form when you get down to the front desk.” Dr Reid instructed me to the front desk and then allowed me to exit the room with an all well Jacob.

I hugged his small frame close to my body in a protecting manner. I still feel extremely guilty for what happened so I will try as hard as I can to keep him from any danger.

Justin had said he would pick me up from outside the hospital at 11am, sharp.

I checked the time on my phone. 10:54am, I still had six minutes to check Jake out.

I arrived at the desk to find an older woman, she was around her late fifties I could tell by the way her hair was turning grey at the roots.

She looked up at me through her Gucci black-rimmed glasses.

“May I help you?”

“Dr Reid sent me to sign Jake out.” I moved Jake in my arms indicating I was talking about him.

“Sure, I will just find the form I printed off earlier for you.” She spun round on her chair and stood up to search threw some piles of paper until she found the right one. “Here it is hunny.” She walked back to her chair, sat down and spun around then, she handed me the form and a pen.

I completed the form within two minutes making me a little early for Justin.

I handed her the form back then left the building.

To say it was cold outside would be an extreme understatement. I checked the weather report on my phone.

It was -4°C and had there was a 75 percent chance of rain.

“Fuck its cold.” I muttered moving Jake so that he was inside my coat so he was warmer.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Justin’s number.
