Chapter 1.
"Naomi hurry up!" Nina screamed. I rolled my eyes, I can't believe she is making me go on a double date with her and her boyfriend. I may be single but that doesn't mean I want a boyfriend. Thats the only reason she is making me go. She thinks Im in denial... I'm not. I also have a bad feeling about tonight. Something in my mind is telling me not to go...
I put on my black Verawang heels and walked downstairs. Its a simple dinner so I just wore a red top, skinny jeans and my heels. Simple but cute.
"Ugh finally!!!!" Nina exagerated. I just rolled my eyes. "We're late now."
"I don't even want to go. I have a bad feeling about tonight..." I said trailing off.
"Oh stop, tonights going to be amazing" She smiled. I just nodded and grabbed my purse and walked out.

We got to the resturaunt 5 minutes late. We walked in to see Nina's boyfriend John and another guy next to him... And oh god he is B.E.A.UTIFUL!!!! He had black short hair and deep brown eyes. He was a good 6 feet tall, tan skin; he looked like the athletic type. But just staring at him and the way he was staring at me, made me feel safe.
"Hey babe, Hey Naomi" John said smiling.
"Hey babe whos your friend here?" Nina asked.
"This is Noah. Noah this is my girlfriend Nina and her best friend Naomi." I smiled and waved. I didn't trust myself with words righ now after seeing Noah.
"Let's sit shall we?" Nina suggested. We sat and waited a good 10 minutes for the waiter.
The waitor finally came and we ordered. When it was my turn I looked up and saw my Ex; Aaron.
"Well if it isn't Naomi Rose Le. How are you doing Babe? Replaced me already?" He smirked, I heard a growl. I ignored it thinking it was my imagination.
"1. I'm not your 'Babe' anymore. 2. You dumped me 5 months ago for some slut. So I don't really think it matters with you if I'm on a double date right now anyway." I said full of confidence.
"Oh but babe I think it does. Because you see we didn't actually break up. I cheated on you yes. But I never ended it." He smirked. "And babe, you aren't even that attractive. I am only dating you because I feel bad for you. And I bet your date was forced to be here."
"Naomi don't listen to him. Be strong. Don't let him get to you." Nina said worridly.
"Fine, then I'll end it now. ITS OVER. There now It shouldn't matter to you who I'm with. You may be right about myself not being attractive but I'm stronger and more confident then I was before. I don't need to be here because you are just going to wreck my night. Oh wait you already have. GOODBYE Aaron." With that I got up and left.
I waited until I was out of the resturuant and tears started to poor down my face.
"I'm so not strong or confident and Most certainly not attractive." I muttered.
"That's not true." I jumped at the voice and turned around. It was Noah.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be back at the resturaunt?" I asked.
"I didn't want to be with the 2 love birds and came to find you and see if you were alright." He said.
"That's really nice of you but you don't have to. I'm just going to go back to my apartment."
"But I want to. May I walk you home?"
"Your not gonna kidnap me, right?" I joked
He chuckled. "No I'm not." I smiled and nodded.
The walk was fun and comforting. I got to know a little bit about Noah. I don't know what it is, but something about him makes me feel safe and so right to be with him.
"Well thanks for walking me home" I smiled
"Thanks for allowing me to walk you home." he replied.
"Would you like to come inside?" I asked nervously. I really didn't want this night to end.
"Sure." He smiled. I opened the door and let him in.
"Make your self at home. Want anything to drink?"
"No but come sit down." I nodded.
We sat in a comforting silence.
"Tonight was a fun night, just being with you." He replied. I agreed of course.
After a few minutes he took my hand. I looked at him. He took my chin with one finger and looked into my eyes. His looked back and forth from my eyes to my lips.
He started to lean in and as did I. And when our lips touched everything froze. It was magical. Sparks. Fireworks. I felt as if I was floating.
I leaned back and smiled, as did he.
"wow" I said. He chuckled.
"I have to go now, can I have your number?"
We exchanged numbers and he left. Best night ever.
