✦ Born and raised in Busan in a small apartment, his parents were both working 3 jobs trying to fee their 4 membered family, Hoseok grew to appreciate every single thing he had or ate. His father would work all day, return home at 11:00 pm and then draw. This went on for 7 years after Hoseok's birth. The Jung family had a surprise. Their father had tried to get his manhwa published for the past 5 years but he was always rejected, until a new company decided to publish it, and the sales skyrocketed. The company became successful, famous and rich because of Hoseok's father and they got very rich too. His mum quit her jobs to be able to be a housewife and the family moved to a bigger house. His father started drawing more manhwa's that just became more popular than the last. When Hoseok was younger, he always would doodle to himself, but now they could afford drawing lessons for him. He began developing his talent, when K.N. Academy found his talent and decided to offer him a spot in their school. He attends the school during the week, and lives in a small apartment his parents bought for him in Seoul, but always returns to his family home during the weekends.

His biggest idol is his father who is successful in drawing manhwa's, what Hoseok wants to do in his future too. He is won't stop bugging someone when he wants or needs something. Also, he loves helping people but is bad at reading emotions. If he blurts out something inappropriate, he didn't mean it in a bad way. When he draws he's very concentrated, easy to get mad when being interrupted and ignores his surroundings until he's done.
