I suddenly felt the floor shift.
It's an elevator
We all rose up, without Professor Birch by our side. We were all alone now.
The elevator rose into what seemed to be an empty house in the starting town of Hoenn, Littleroot.
I clenched my hand on my Pokeball.
I'm going to beat this game.
*
A while after I got my bearings around the small town, I started my journey on Route 1. Not many people were there, as they were scared they would have their Pokemon faint.
I was terrified, but I knew if I didn't go out and start then, I would never end up going.
So I said goodbye to Chloe, who decided to wait around and find some friends.
Everything was so much bigger than it seemed in the games. Of course, the trees and houses were life sized, but Littleroot wasn't just a couple of houses and a lab. It had loads of houses, along with a park and the Lab. But everything was so big.
Wait a second. We didn't get Pokedexes.
I looked down at my jacket. There was a small, compact device in my right pocket.
Had that been there the whole time?
As I pondered the subject, I walked into the wild grass. As soon as I stepped into the wild grass, a Zigzagoon jumped down from what seemed like nowhere.
I jumped back. I knew it was only a Zigzagoon, but the truth was, I hadn't played Pokemon in ages, and I was nervous.
"Ok, okay. Let's do this!" I shouted. "Go, Treeko!"
I threw the ball high up in the air, and when the ball landed, out came Treeko in all his glory
A holographic touchpad appeared in front of me. It showed the ORAS battle menu.
It's so much like the game, it's unbelievable.
"Ok, Treeko, Vine Whip!" I said as I pressed the Vine Whip  button.
Treeko did exactly what I told him. He shot out vines and slapped Zigzagoon.
"Zigzagoon used Tackle" a robotic voice said.
The Zigzagoon proceeded to shoot towards Treeko at an astonishing speed, zigzagging wherever it went.
As the Zigzagoon got nearer, I started to panic.
What if he lands a critical hit? Oh no no no-
The Zigzagoon hit Treeko full force with its head, causing Treeko to drop to yellow health.
"Oh, no. Dammit."
Stop panicking! Do something!
I took a deep breath and said, "Treeko, use Vine Whip again!"
Treeko did the exact same this as last time. He slapped Zigzagoon around until he fell to no health, falling to the ground. The Zigzagoon got up and walked off, annoyed.
"+22 EXP"
"Phew," I panted. "I thought I was doing very badly. Well, only one way forward."
I pushed forward, striding though the long grass with newfound confidence, but also slowly as to not attract any attention.
When I finally got to Oldale Town, I healed up my Treeko in the Pokemon Centre and bought some Pokeballs and Potions at the shop.
As I was coming out of the Pokeshop, I saw Rashaun coming off of Route 1.
"Hey, Rashaun!" I called out to him. "Caught any Pokemon yet?"
"Oh, hey, Conor! How glad I am to see you not dead. Jeez, you are small. But no, haven't caught any yet. But I probably want to soon, don't ya think? This isn't a normal difficulty for Pokemon, this is much harder."
"Yeah, yeah it is,"
"You know what? It seems like someone made this dimension. I don't know why or how they would do it, but... As in, it's so much like the games... "
"You know what? I think you're on to something. And don't you wait, once I get out of here, I'm going to crack some Plain Vanilla skulls. Or rather, get the police to do it. I am only 12."
"Mhm"
I noticed a small, red icon above his head.
"Hey, Rashaun, what's that?" I asked, pointing to the icon.
"What?" he asked as he looked up. "Oh, that. That's to engage in battles or trades with each other. Wanna try?"
"Woah. Wait. What?" I asked, dumbfounded. "You're able to kill each other?"
"No, oh no. If you battle each other, you can't kill each other, but you can't get EXP points either. So that sucks."
"Oh. So, yeah, actually, wanna battle?"
It thought for a moment, before saying, "Hell Yeah!"

Woo, Chapter 3 finished! Yeah, so I'm gonna put some author's notes down here some chapters.
So, please, tell me any feedback! From if you liked it or not, to grammar mistakes, please tell me what you thought! Thanks!
