"I was distracted because..." Noah explained, scratching the back of his neck.
Everyone looked at him, there eyes wide waiting for him to continue.
"I like Amanda and Amanda likes me" he said, a small smile on his face.
Richelle swore she could feel her heart break in to two.
Why? She's over Noah... Right? Well she thought she was.
She shifted uncomfortably, why did that effect her?
Why is she sad?
"I don't want relationships getting in the way of dance" Riley says sternly, crossing her arms over her chest.
"It won't happen again, I promise.." Noah said, scratching the back of his neck.
Everyone started clapping, and yelling stuff about him and Amanda, making them both blush, but Richelle stood there with her arms crossed.
Two things were annoying her;
1. Noah and Amanda like each other
2. She still likes Noah
"Well I was going to give you two the duet, but considering you guys are distracting each other I might find Noah a new partner" Riley says, looking around the group.
"What? Riley please" Amanda says, frowning.
Riley ignored her, turning to Richelle.
"You and Noah... You've done duets before right?" Riley asks, remembering when Miss Kate made them show a duet before nationals.
"I mean..." Richelle says, looking towards Noah.
"Yeah" Noah shrugs, smiling slightly.
"Great! You two can do the regionals duet! Because Noah won't get distracted" Riley smiles, before giving Noah a stern look and walking into her office.
"I'm getting a drink" Amanda huffed, walking out.
Noah followed Amanda sighing, and Richelle couldn't help but swiftly follow, making sure no one noticed.
As Noah turned down the hall to see Amanda leaning against the all, Richelle stopped, making sure she was being as quiet as possible to hear what they were saying.
"Babe what's wrong?" Noah sighed.
"What's wrong? Maybe the fact that we can't do a duet together" she snapped.
Richelle rolled her eyes. That isn't something to be upset about.
"We can still make duets we just won't be able to compete" he shrugged, holding her hands.
Richelle peaked her head out, so she could see what was happening.
"But I don't want you hanging out with that little bitch after dance everyday. She's going to steal you from me" Amanda said.
Richelle rolled her eyes, she always knew Amanda didn't like her.
She watched as Noah tensed, dropping Amanda's hands.
"Don't call her a bitch" He warned, his tone now serious instead of soft.
Richelle couldn't help but smile at how he was sticking up for her.
"She is!" Amanda defended.
"She's my best friend. Sure she is sassy and can have an attitude but she isn't a bitch. So don't call her one" he stated.
"Why do you even care. You should agree with me cause I'm your girlfriend" Amanda said.
"If I knew you were like this I wouldn't of wanted you to be my girlfriend!" He exclaimed.
"Whatever" Amanda snapped, starting to walk.
Richelles eyes widen as she quickly ran back into studio A.
