The Potter Twins | ABANDONED

PROLOGUE

SETTING: THE ILLIAD COTTAGE, GODRIC'S HALLOWS, WEST COUNTRY, GREAT BRITAIN.

DATE: 15 SEPTEMBER, 1985

The Godric's Hollow is located in the West Country of the Great Britain. It is a small community, which centres on a village square with only a Church, a post office, a pub, and a few retail shops. The residential streets are lined with quaint cottages, and an area called Church Lane that leads up to the church.

The total population of the village is not more than 25 people with a round of 5 families, that consists of both Magic users and squibs. As there is no Muggle presence, magic can be practised easily without interference, and thus, respecting the International Statue of Secrecy.

The notable families that lived/lives here were/are the Dumbledore Family and the Potter Family, followed by many squibs and not-much-of-importance line of Wizards and Witches.

It was a New Moon day, so there was no sighting of the milky white beauty on the dark starry night. The village usually is silent on the New Moons for some oblivious reasons that no one knew, but the villagers usually long for the silence, since the other days the atmosphere is full of noise.

The Iliad Cottage that is a property of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter was an exception tonight. The occupants of the said Cottage were very youthful, so like every other youth, they're always very cheery, loud and noisy.

The actual residents of the property were a family of 4: the husband and wife, and their twin children. But today, the cottage is housing 2 extra individuals.

The reason is because 'twas SATURDAY!

Saturday is the International Unofficial Day of Celebration for Youths. It also implies that there would be Family Night, with a complete Movie Marathon.

That's what is happening in the Iliad Cottage tonight.

The Dining room (of the cottage) saw Sirius Orion "Padfoot" Black - Lord of the Most ancient and Noble House of Black, a Special Squad Auror - and his husband, Remus John "Moony" Lupin - Proxy Lord of the Black family (since he's married to Sirius) - seated on one side of the dining table.

James "Prongs" Fleamont Potter - Lord of the Potter Family, and a Special Squad Auror - his wife, Lily "Fire Flower" Evans Potter - Lady of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter - and, their twins children (of 4 years) - Harry "Bambi" James Potter and Hermione "Spitfire" Lily Potter - sat on their respective baby (high) chairs next to their parents on the other side of the dining table.

Like every other Saturday, the dining table was groaning underneath the weight of the dinner that was placed on the table top. Variety of delicious dishes starting from Sphagetti and Meatballs to Red Wine and Orange Juice (for the kids) was laid out for human consumption.

Lily had outdone herself this time. Once again.

Sirius was in his indigenous place: shiny black hair; twinkling grey eyes; sexy body (he says that himself); pranks; his family (includes the Potters and his husband); not to mention, the food.

He was now found listening to his godchildren: The Potter Twins of how they pranked an aged neighbour, Tyler Gilbert, who happens to be a short-tempered, short-sized squib. "-Then Mia and me went to Old Tyler's home, Mia put the Cowbells there-"

"-Wait, how did you get those cowbells?" Remus questioned his godchildren, who gazed at each other mischievously.

The elders could sense that anywhere, since they're known for their mischievousness, and it's only right that their Cubs inherited the same. Lily blew a strand of hair away from her face in exasperation. Sirius and James were almost biting their nails in anticipation. Remus was merely amused.
