Chelsea's POV:
Katie and I were now currently standing in front of the door to where detention is being held, mentally bracing ourselves.
We don't what's gonna be in there but we can definitely hear the sound of crazy teenagers shouting and roaring like they were in the jungle fighting for their prey.
We both looked at each other with the look, 'I'm ready when your ready.'
I took a big breath in and exhaled back out.
Twisting the knob of the door, Katie and I crept in. All the noise, all the shouting and roaring and all the papers being thrown came to a stop at the sight if us.
They probably didn't have newcomers join their detention crew.
I stood there awkwardly and the next thing I know is that I got a good pelt with paper balls. Everyone boomed out with laughter as I flinched away trying to avoid being hit by the paper balls.
Not long after I fell, they finally got bored of me just standing there doing nothing but duck at the things they threw at me, so they turned back to their friends laughing and chatting away.
"Katie," I sighed. "I really do not want to be here." I whined.
"Same here." She muttered.
And that's when I took a good look around.
The teacher, I think is Mr. Walter, I can't really tell because of all the sharpie writing on his face and a snap back on his head.
What surprises me the most is that he actually slept through the whole 'makeover' thing. No, actually it's probably because this happens every detention and he still chooses to sleep in here. I mean, why can't he sleep in the teachers lounge or something. No teachers go there after school, so why not?
'Detention' written in big, bold letters in the middle of the board with some smaller words around it saying stuff like,
Suck it.
Fuck you.
or
Matthew was here :)
or
something just plain typical; a penis.
I turned back to look at Spencer. He was sitting with his feet propped up on a desk in front of him and his hands behind his head making hid muscles show. He was leaning on his chair and had his usual smirk on his handsome face. His hair was disheveled like in a 'I don't care' style.
"See. I told you I'll see you later, and here you are now, in flesh and blood. Tell me, how did a good girl like you end up in detention with people like us?" He asked with a smirk.
"I think you know the answer to that." I replied.
"I'm afraid I don't, sweetcheeks. Want to remind me after detention in the janitors closet?"
My eyebrows furrowed in disgust. "I'd rather not."
"Your really gonna miss out, sweetcheeks." He fired back.
I scoffed. I haven't even talked to the guy for five minutes and I already feel like strangling him.
I looked around for Katie and saw that she was occupied with something. Or more like someone.
My eyes nearly bulged out of my head at who was talking to her.
Jake Harris
The Jake Harris, the bad boy of the school, the guy who never talks to anyone but most important Spencer's brother.
The were both seated on the teachers desk. Katie was twirling a piece of her brown hair in her finger with a tint if blush scattered on her cheeks. And Jake had a small smirk, almost identical to Spencer's.
A thought burst in my head, and felt guilty looking at them, I realised that Jake will probably just use her, like all the other girls.
Turning back to Spencer, I stopped short for a second before I said, "Tell your brother to stay away from Katie, I don't want him to just play with her heart."
He was silent before he shot back a statement, that took me by surprise. "He's not a player."
"Well, it isn't wrong to be cautious around the infamous Harris brothers, you guys break hearts, and I don't want my best friend to be on that list."
"The only player between me and my brother is me, just me." He stared into my brown eyes, his smirk completely gone and his face leaving no emotion. "And he will never be like me."
"A player?"
"Exactly."
This is a different side to the always smirking Spencer that I never saw and can I just say it's making my knees wobble.

You guys have no idea how many times I spelled Spencer's name wrong lmao
Until next time :)
