Chelsea's P. O. V:

Everyone in Suncoast High believed that Spencer Harris was a cold hearted son of a bitch but I can't find the Spencer people say and talk about.

But right now I'm confused. Why would Spencer say that his brother, Jake, would never be like him, like a player.

''Why's that?'' I asked, tilting my head to the left in a confused manner. Scrunching my eyebrows together.

''Forget it.'' He waved me off. Turning back to his cool, smirking facade. And with that, the caring side to Spencer Harris was gone. Just like that. But who wouldn't be surprised, he has a reputation to keep up and all. Caring for his brother probably make him look like a freaking wuss.

I shrugged in a sort of 'okay then' matter. But to be honest, it was starting bug me. Like a fly just buzzing around you, no matter how much times you try to squat it away.

I took my seat in front of him, dropping my bag under the table and taking out my iPod.

But before I could put on my earphones and just tune the world out, Spencer stood up and sauntered up in front of the class. I raised an amused eyebrow at him when he reached the teacher's desk. But he just flashed me a smirk. A bit of a mischievous glint in his eyes making his eyes even more of a lighter color of brown.

"Listen up!" He announced. And for the second time today everyone stopped.

"Since we have two new comers joining us today, I suggest we do something a little more... fun." He said but the mischievous tone in his voice didn't go un-noticed.

I saw Katie and Jake move a little on the desk they were sitting on and the both shared a look.

I just hoped that what Spencer said was true and that Jake will treat her right. Especially, after what happened with Ethan, her ex back in Junior year.

You see, Ethan, was abusive.

When Katie and him first announced that they were officially together. I was happy, but back then the word happy didn't do justice enough to how over joyed I was for them. They were perfect for each other, or so I thought.

Six months past, everything was going smoothly with their relationship. Everyone was jealous of what they had going on. They were so in love. Again, so I thought.

That's when I found out everything. In gym.

*FLASHBACK*

Katie and I are walking over to the ladies changing rooms to get ready for gym.

I, personally, hate gym. Since, I had to get up and run or just move.

But Katie, she lives and breaths for it so, gym was Katie's favorite class of all time. Well, seeing she's in ladies soccer, it totally makes sense.

We approached our gym lockers, we changed, blah blah, the usual.

Katie put her wavy brown hair into a tight pony tail.

On her neck revealed a purple and blackish oval shaped hickey or maybe a bruise but I'm not really sure because I never really seen or had one.

I grabbed her arm and yanked her to the back of the changing rooms.

"Ethan gave you a hickey!" I whispered.

She bit her lip before her eyes started to tear up slightly.

"Chels, it's not a hickey," She started to explain. "It's a bruise. You-"
