Fred's POV
I picked Evanna up bridal style. I wasn't going to let anyone else hurt her. I started to run with her in my arms. If I made it to the Great Hall, we were safe. I ran as quickly as possible. I wasn't stopping for anything. "Fred? Freddie?" It was George. "George? Are you alright?"
"Do I look alright mate?"
"No not really."
"Can you help me?"
"I have Evanna right now. She can't stand. Can you stand?"
"No."
"Can I come back and get you?"
"Go ahead Fred. Get her back safely. Someone else will find me. And please take care of her. I don't want you to lose the love of your life."
"I will Georgie, I will." I said as I ran off.
I felt bad for leaving George there but as he said, someone else would find him. I was almost to the Great Hall. I heard Evanna mumble. She was saying my name. I sounded like a faint whisper. I told her everything would be ok. When I finally got to the Great Hall I saw Alex sitting beside Draco running her hands through his blond hair. I looked over to see Hermione and Ron sitting by each other holding hands. Then I looked over to see Percy and Dad talking. They hadn't talked since Percy had left. Then I saw Katie run in holding George in her arms. He had liked Katie since year 2. But he thought that she liked Lee. "George? George wake up." "I'm awake, Katie." "Then there is something I need to do." she said as she kissed him. Go George! I walked over to sit Evanna down. When I tried to lay her down she wouldn't let go. She had her arms wrapped around my neck and she was not gonna let go. She had fell asleep holding onto me. Then I decided to tell her something.
"I don't know what I would do without you, Eve. You are the light in my life. You bring me joy when others can't. You are the one who makes me happy. Nobody can make me feel happy the way you do."
"Well I feel the same way, Freddie." she said fully awake.
"When did you wake up, Eve?" "I never went to sleep." "So... you heard everything I said?"
"Yep. I love you too, Freddie. More than anything."
"I love you more."
